Thinking bout the switch, any thoughts?
Havent played the 93 but have with the 100. IMO it suits the more traditional player who isnt all into the massive topspin thing and likes to volley at the net.
EXO3 Graphite 93
I am currently playing with the EXO3 Graphite 93 and I love it. Very solid on all parts of the court. Do you have any sepcific questions?
TW have reviewed the EXO3 Graphite, although they all seem to like the 100 the 93 is a great racket and still gets a great review by the playtesters!
Lovely racket, especially when strung with signum pro poly plasma. However do not mistreat this racket- I hit a half volley with it and when I looked at it next it had broken at about 5 oclock on the frame!
It's a decent frame but don't expect it to feel like the oldschool graphite racquets. It doesn't. I'm currently playing with the POG Mid 90s and had a 93 exo... eh. It's a solid frame without a doubt but it doesn't have the spin access of the oldschool version. You'll notice a bit of "sneaky power" to the frame. Sometimes if you catch the ball slightly lower or higher on the stringbed, you'll get a distinctly different response from the ball
I could be a bit biased because the few times I hit with it, I [played with prince recoil. It's a strange string...
Solid stick, but the original graphite mid is definitely a better stick in my opinion. The pog produces more spin and just as much power due to the more open string pattern. The Exo graphite has similar power due to the springiness of the o ports, but less spin due to the denser string pattern.
This not to say that the exo is a bad racquet, I just would prefer the OG
Great balance.... Great feel... and weight distribution made my demo a surprisingly enjoyable one.
Has no glaring weaknesses, a solid all-around stick. It seems to give as good as it gets, do all that is asked of it and nothing more. If you like a raw feel or rely on free power, avoid this stick, it has very little pop and gives only muted feedback. It does hit a remarkably nice flat ball, though.
yeah thinking bout getting one to gather better technique off flatter shots. thanks for the opinions
A 93 EXO3 would be wonderful for this.
I couldn't seem to get into a groove with the exo3 graphite mid. It is a decent racquet, kind of fun to play with but nothing more than that.
I wanted to switch to exo 93 from pog mid, but the exo version simply is too flexy in the upper hoop for me. The usable sweet spot on the exo is lower. I would say the exo has better plowthrough and is more "plush"
