Does anybody know what model Nike's he was wearing in his match against Medvedev? I think he normally wears Zoom Zeroes and these have the swoosh in the same location but they have a different sole and upper. Don't think I've seen these before.

I didn't know about "Turbo GP", I was just going to guess that it would be a later release shoe.

Looks like an evolution of the ZZero. Reminds me of the Zoom Hyperrev bball shoe below

Excuse me for possibly being a dummy, but what does GP mean in the NikeCourt world? For basketball there was the GP for Gary Payton shoes in the late 90s, but not sure if the GP name on a tennis shoe is supposed to link it to anything else Nike has put out? Just curious.

Guesstimating this but I feel this will be Nike's lightweight range going forward. F1 style weight savings everywhere..... GrandPrix model. Similar to the 90s LWP (light weight Performance) models they had for Agassi and Basketball.
All the other silos are relatively heavy.
Pure speculation thou

Really looking forward to the GP, full length zoom, including a double stack in the heel. I'm guessing Zoom Zeros count as a prototype release, considering that the shoes were tested publicly for so long pre release. Dont forget the Air Max Zero, which is a call back to Tinker Hatfields initial sketches of the Air Max 1. I think the GP Turbo will replace the Zoom Zero line as the most cushioned and durable shoe in the Nike lineup. Especially since the Cage 4 is getting the vapor designation.

I have seen Nike stuff in writing that says the GP Turbo is going to be ultra durable.

Do you mean the ones he wore to walk to his hotel room after losing in the first round?

The shoes look pretty good, however I’m worried with ventilation/support. The upper on the exterior looks flimsy, almost like the Nike react element 55 or 87 if anybody has seen those.

That’s just the exterior though. I’m sure it’s sturdy from the inside. The exterior is like that for breathability purposes.

Odd he was chosen to debut this shoe though. But I guess he was one of the first to wear the Zero's and kept wearing it. But from the looks of the shoe it looks like a speed orientated shoe and I am here for that. Seems like it'll a great shoe for color blocking.

I hope so! Think of the cage 3, there is no support at all without the “cage” around the bootie. If these have the element construction with something sticker supporting it it would be one hell of a breathable shoe
