6:26 p.m.: Andy Slater of Fox Sports reports that Woods was on his way to meet NFL quarterback Drew Brees at the time of the accident.
6:24 p.m.: The first responding officer at the scene, LAPD deputy Carlos Gonzalez says Woods was unable to stand on his own, adding that he was lucid and calm. Also says Woods was wearing his seatbelt.
6:18 p.m.: Villanueva says the front of Woods' vehicle was damaged considerably, but that the interior cabin remained intact; otherwise, he said, Woods' accident would have been fatal.
6:11 p.m.: Villanueva says the area in which Woods crashed has seen frequent accidents due to its downward, twisting layout. Says weather is not considered a factor in the crash.
6:09 p.m.: Los Angeles fire chief Daryl Osby in the news conference, says it was determined at the crash site that Woods had "serious" leg injuries and that, based on the crash and the severity of his injuries, it was determined he should be transported to the nearest trauma center: Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He also reiterated that it wasn't the jaws of life that removed Woods from the vehicle, but a combination of a pry bar and axe.
6:07 p.m.: Villanueva reiterates there was no sign of impairment in Woods at the scene of the crash, and that there was no effort to draw blood from him at the time or when he was transported to the hospital.
6:05 p.m.: Villanueva says another crash occurred near where Woods' occurred due to rubber-necking. No one was injured.
