Henman is exactly right but Novak has worked on adding variety in his A game. His A game is already good enough to beat anyone on his best day so it doesn't matter. Would like to stop this Novak has most complete game BS though.

They had plenty or British players; just none that elite! I'm sure you heard of Evert's 1st husband, John Lloyd! He had 2 other brothers and they all played for England! The women have traditionally done better; led by Virginia Wade, Sue Barker, Ann Hobbs, and Jo Durie! They've had some good juniors, but never seem to make that next big step to make a major quarter or semi, much less play a final and win! Without Wade, I think they would have been an obscure power, overvaluing their worth to tennis with the Wightman Cup way back when! It was the equivalent to the Hopman or Nations Cup where Britain played 7 matches in singles and doubles against the US every year! Big waste of time; usually a shellacking with Evert, Austin, Shriver, Jaeger, and other "also-rans" of the day! ;-)

Former World No. 4 Tim Henman says Novak Djokovic is not the most complete player ever but that he is one of the most effective players in the history of the game.

Speaking in New Delhi where he is promoting the Road to Wimbledon programme, Henman said that every aspect of Djokovic's game is very advanced and athletic and that he is very solid from the back of the court but added that he does not come to the net very often.

How can Djokovic be the most complete player when he is a baseliner? Has no idea how to play the net? I'm getting tired of people thinking the tennis universe is just the last 15 years, how would Djokovic do in the 70's on super fast courts with 65" rackets with gut? Where physicality didn't matter very much? Tennis is more, much more than the last 15 years, if he wants to say the most complete player in the modern slow court era he might have a case, but Henmen knew 90's fast courts, this is why he knows what he's talking about.

WImbledon's 'Henman Hill' lost his title to 'Murray Mound' and he is taking out his frustration onto poor Djokovic. Djokovic is as complete as they come, though I haven't seen him do a somersault overhead smash, I believe this is a hole in his game he must address ASAP if he is to have any revered recognition of his completeness.
