That is one heck of a risk you decided to take!
Staking your entire reputation here at TTW on a highly unlikely outcome.

Is it really worth the ridicule that is sure to follow if he loses to Djoker today?

I mean to create a separate thread and expose yourself like this for all to see?

He was rooting for a player like everyone else. Why will he be ridiculed ?

Seriously? Should one only root for DjokoDal ?

His groundstrokes are really horrible. I haven’t seen anything which suggests he’s not a servebot today, he’s like post-injuries DelPo with a worse forehand and a slightly better serve

That’s obvs a great achievement but it speaks to where we’re at rn with grass court tennis and the quality of the field. If you have a big serve and can put together 1 or 2 return games of hitting big forehands, you can take a set off the 3-time defending Wimbledon champion

Did this guy come out of nowhere? What's his story? Why is he only breaking through now at 25?

Has come back from a lot of serious injuries. Didn't think he would be able to play pro tennis for a long time.
Yeah. He's got serious power. Almost uncontrollable at times. From their box's reaction, they were relieved he got a set off Djokovic. And he should be proud of it to do it as a debutant.

You either get your prediction right in the first attempt or stick long enough to become The Sureshs.

Just played his first tour match after injury I believe, comeback started at s’Hertogenbosch where he lost to Bergs 4 & 3. Good to have him back.
He has a really nice game to watch, Tim... Sadly, he is much too injury prone to make a life on tour. I doubt he will even last the rest of this season. I hope I'm wrong and wish him the very best and a wc to Wimbledon would be great or to make it through the qualifyings. His game looked quite rusty at Hertogenbosch though...
