Time for another Sinner Massacre

He got his rusty match out of the way in the first round. I think the second round will be tough, but he will be a little better. By round 3 he will be in full form.

Sinner will go on to win Wimby 26, and then Canada, Cincy, and finally, USO (or maybe lose in finals of either M 1,000).

This will be the restart of the cycle we saw in March where he won 5 tournaments in a row.

Too soon to tell.

Sinner hates it when someone can rally with him for long and contend with him in hitting steady deep shot off of both wings.

If you don't want Sinner to win WB, you need Medvedev in form and in Quarters. Only guy who can do that to Sinner and has a track record of turning up against him and Alcaraz in slams

Nah the cat's out of the bag. Sinner's weakness has been exposed. All you have to do is blow a warm breath on him from the stands and he melts like a popsicle.

Somebody who wants to win against SINNER has to do one thing push him over 4hrs mark and he will start cracking.
And in 5th set play like crazy to have your chances.
I hope FO misfortune will not appear again but in long 5 setter Sinner is still suspect

What? It is the complete opposite. Guys who try to get into long rallies with Sinner always lose, you have to do slices, drop shots and serve really well to beat him.

Eh only if it's hot. He won his 5th setter the other day, and pushing him past 4 hours is really difficult.

It took two tiebreaks to defeat a Portuguese player, when you're supposed to be at peak. Portuguese players think grass is supposed to play football on.

Borges was serving for the second set at 5-4 and practically gave the game to Sinner, who then won the set at 7-6

Yeah and Novak went 5 sets with some chinese mug. And then Carlos went 5 sets with Fognini in the first round last year. It takes time to feel the court. Hell, Shelton lost to a qualifier.

It was only 4 sets and that Chinese "mug" was the first Chinese player to win an ATP title, no slouch at all. Shelton lost to Virtanen who has a ridiculous federerlike forehand and a monster serve for grass.

Sinner's odds to win Wimbledon are now -170 vs Novak's +450.

This means Sinner has roughly a 63% chance of winning the championship while Novak has a 15% chance.

Sinner is playing into form, when Alcaraz isn't around, Sinner is the odds on favourite for any tournament he enters.

I think the final will be Sinner vs Fritz but I can't count Djokovic out until he's actually out.

Let’s see if Sinner can increase his rallying skills. It’s not a good sign that he won only 40% of his 2nd service points today. If he did that against a good opponent, then he will lose.

With that being said, he’s making nice improvements with each match. If he can make it to the QF, then he will be dangerous. But as of now, his level of play is 2 levels lower than his 2025 Wimbledon run.

He is still not even top 100. Also, Virtanen just lost to world #114 so his forehand can't be that good.

Yes I agree. He still needs his big coming out match. No bagles or breadsticks yet. I have a feeling he will destroy his next two opponents, with Struff/Hurcats looking silly in the QF.

'26 WB will be won by Grigor Dimitrov over Jannik Sinner! Yessiree!

Sinner should lose early as possible so that he can win Canada-Cincy double. And then lose early again at USO so that he can win Shanghai and Paris Indoors. 9 masters and 0 slams. Majoring in minors is an achievement for the ages and must be pursued.

That would make him emulate what Our Djoko did during the strong era and go one better

Nah, Djokovic never won the first 5 masters in the same calendar year. The most he won in a 1-slam season was 4 masters in 2014. But anyways, winning masters is still better than not winning much in both masters and slams like Fed was in the strong era. :X3:

He will win Wimbledon, Canada, maybe Cincy, and then USO before losing at the China open.
