Until Felix the cat howls louder than the Serbian wolf thereHe's the still the big favourite for Wimbledon.
Turin! If he plays more like he did today than he did yesterday he certainly isn't going to win Bercy or Milan.
They are **********, what can you honestly expect from them?Seriously? I’m a Nadal fan and even I know that’s a ridiculous suggestion.
What’s annoying about a lot of Novak fans is their endless cockiness. I don’t subscribe to their assumption that he is the best tennis player ever or that he is a lock in to win all the time but he is an exceptional player although his window of opportunity is closing far quicker than his supporters would think imo.
He has no chance on clay and less when he will be over 37 years old. He's not gonna retire before the 2024 Olympics, that's for sure. Unless there's a very good reason for it.
He is on a 7 matchs winning streak. Won 16 of his last 17 matchs, only defeat against Nadal in RG. Would still be world number #2 with the Wimbledon points, knowing he missed 2 Slams and 4 Masters. So no. He shouldn't retire.
He lost his latest match. That's enough a reason to speculate that he should retire.
I’m not cocky Novak fan. I personally think like Nadal he’s going to struggle to win more slams. These younger players like Alcaraz, sinner, Felix, Tiafoe are all good players and getting stronger physically and mentally.Seriously? I’m a Nadal fan and even I know that’s a ridiculous suggestion.

I know you aren’t, unlike some. Essentially I see it similarly.I’m not cocky Novak fan. I personally think like Nadal he’s going to struggle to win more slams. These younger players like Alcaraz, sinner, Felix, Tiafoe are all good players and getting stronger physically and mentally.
His best chance if fit is Wimbledon. He will struggle to win though elsewhere. He has chances in Australia but the field depth on hard courts is stronger.
Rafa will rely on the French open a lot. Basically the slam race is likely to be determined who can defend their turf better. Djoko current best turf grass and Rafa clay.
Hard courts will be tough for both going forward. They will try snatch another but it will be tough
Thanks and yeah it’s going to be close!I know you aren’t, unlike some. Essentially I see it similarly.

The only one who has a chance at that age is Nadal because he is the best player in history by far on clay and on any surface, but even so it will be a small one.

What to discuss? Its Nadal fans wet dream which would never come true unless hes ahead in slams and Nadal retires.Discuss

He lost to FAAHow does novak come back sharp from breaks but thiem struggling for so long?
How is Novak not the best tennis player? Even Nadal said that Novak will win the most slams as he still plays at a high level and has the best longevity.Seriously? I’m a Nadal fan and even I know that’s a ridiculous suggestion.

You're overrating young players at AO and underrating Novak. Can't see next gen beating Novak at AO. Maybe ay USOpen but not at AO for another 2-3 yrs.I’m not cocky Novak fan. I personally think like Nadal he’s going to struggle to win more slams. These younger players like Alcaraz, sinner, Felix, Tiafoe are all good players and getting stronger physically and mentally.

He came back to make madrid finals, rg qf and won Wimbledon in his last comeback. Then in the next comeback match, first in many months, he beat the uso semifinalist in a dominant performance that was termed very sharp. He lost to FAA
Well he kinda lost in Dubai and MC and got bageled in Belgrade..He came back to make madrid finals, rg qf and won Wimbledon in his last comeback. Then in the next comeback match, first in many months, he beat the uso semifinalist in a dominant performance that was termed very sharp.
I think Felix, Sinner and Alcaraz are gonna finally get him in slams next year.
Rafa will win Wimbledon again, you can see he's good enough, 3 straight SFs
Also don't underestimate him at the AO, he's incredibly consistent at going deep there
Djokovic is getting worse and worse with every round, while Nadal gets better and better, and Djokovic can't push is way to victory vs. Nadal or Sinner for that matter
At 2022 Cincinnati vs. Coric:
Nadal's 1st Serve average was 114mph.
Nadal's 2nd Serve average was 98mph.
That's perfect speeds, he wins Slams with that
That's why he's winning the 2022 US Open.
