Time to rank Sinner’s level

Evaluating the level of both of these guys : the French open was a better match.
That's a huge understatement. LOL. The French Open final was one of the best matches of all time, while the Wimbledon final was an ordinary match.

Their 2024 French Open semi final, which Alcaraz won in 5 sets, was also ordinary, with far less intensity than the following year's final. Their other epic was their 2022 US Open quarter final, which Alcaraz won in 5 sets after being match points down in the fourth set.

I only find 3 impressive:

2023 - Carlos beat Djokovic after cramping to him at Roland Garros.

2025 - "Sinner was exposed by Dimitrov!" Well, the two players who won the last 6 titles couldn't expose him.

2024 - Carlos again stopped the absurdity of Nole joining Federer for the most titles.

Nick's twitter is so funny :alien:
Damn look at those comments lol. Nick has them triggered
That's obviously why the BBC dropped Kyrgios as well.
Kyrios is pathetic and irrelevant. Yet he is still a clown act that nobody wants to see.
It’s what everyone does online including normal everyday people onnTikTok or IG. They’ve found that people will foam at the mouth at certain things and that gives them clicks and views.
Lol. What a clown Nick is, he surprises me every time with his stupidity and the lack of self awareness. Ned would've probably beaten him as well even without his serve.
Nick is desperately swinging every which way to remain relevant... here he was on team sinner for better career vs Raz10 days ago

This makes a lot of sense and I wasn't looking at it from your angle, fair enough. But I just can't help but think that's not the only reason, judging by his behavior on the court and comments on colleagues even before he started his new "enterprise" of being a TikTon clown/earner. Need for attention disorder or whatever it is...

You realize the 2022 version of Sinner led 2 sets against Djokovic 2022? So I think Sinner 2025 would be higher than Djokovic 2022
Thing is Novak was struggling with confidence and form that year after Aussie open shenanigans. However, from 2-0 down he played amazing tennis and won last 3 sets with ease, despite Jannik still playing some great tennis.

Biggest difference between then and now is that Sinner's overall .movement on grass is so .much better and Novak still had elite movement and was getting to shots he would never get to now.

Raonic was so dominating and skilled that he managed to drive Federer into hiding for the remainder of the year! Federer didn't play another match in 2016 after that loss; it must have been some beating. :)
I've seen that match, Federer wasn't really that hampered by the injury that day. He was moving all right, even if he wasn't playing his best.

Much like Nadal against Rosol in 2012, before the infamous 7 month injury break. Was Nadal's knee bothering him a bit? Probably. But he wasn't limping that day, Rosol just played out of his mind and Nadal was a few notches below his best. Take no credit away from Rosol that day, and take no credit away from Raonic in 2016.
