Time to scrap the WTF

WTF is great. Keep it as it is. Always has some great matches, and this year hasn't disappointed, I've been loving Dimitrov and Sock's performances.

If you want to make players be more in shape for it, just decrease the number of tournaments that count towards ranking by one, let players play a few less 250s.

Agree and really the season should be over after US open. I don’t watch the end of the year exhibition tournaments they are a joke and the top players don’t really care.

Not at all that’s your silly talk. I clearly said the US open which is when the season is really over. You notice that the holiday consolation tournament is hardly carried on TV?

That’s because nobody watches it’s nothing but a glorified all star game.

Tennis is always about who is the best uninjured player. Being uninjured is a part of winning every tournament.

Federer and Nadal are both 30+ and Djokovic was injured, as was Murray. Federer did a great job managing his schedule and got to the SF at the WTF; that's pretty good. Nadal has often had trouble at the WTF. That doesn't in any way "invalidate" the tournament.

Why not just congratulate Goffin?

Right you are. Once Nadal stops winning, it should obviously be wraps. Everyone stops watching anyway.

Since you ask, Edberg withdrew halfway through the 1990 Australian Open final with a torn stomach muscle sustained towards the end of his semi-final match.
