Heard a lot about TING lately...mostly good...supposedly great rates and no contracts... except that it uses Sprint network

Those of you who use their service, are you satisfied?

I get that .. Sprint gets no love.. but the model of Ting is beyond amazing..

Ting’s business model is based on users paying only for what they use.
Users who go below the selected plan are refunded for the unused portion at the end of the month.
Those who go over are simply bumped up to the next bucket with no penalty or overage charge

I ordered a GSM SIM card from Ting yesterday. I'm going back to my 2006 Razr. I'm pretty sure I will pay 9 to 12 dollars a month. I also have an old Samsung E105 which is a tank.
I use google voice for calls 99% of the time.

Right now I have a great plan grandfathered from VirginMobile. I still pay $25 for data/texts and some call minutes but I don't use it.
