i have a pinpoint serve and my right foot tends to pass the left foot [so basically im sliding my right foot to much forward and tend to foot fault with the right foot]. so are there any tips or advice you guys can give me to help prevent my right foot from sliding to far forward?

My advice is to, instead of sliding one foot in front of the other, slide it so that your ankles are together. That's usually what I did when I hit a pinpoint serve.

I have that same problem patrick, it is a very hard problem to break. I concentrate on touching my feet together, but I forget once or twice and then I'm back to normal.

Hit many baskets of serves. Even a little brother or sister can observe and tell you if you are doing it.

Eventually, you will acquire the ability to notice yourself doing it *without* their help.

(Remember to buy "little sis" a nice lunch for her help.)

I tried rotating my left foot a little bit after I got defaulted from a match for too many footfaults(Long story...)

Seemed to work pretty well, and I've fixed it without trying.

Can't you just start a little further back? If you have a pinpoint serve, it sounds like everything is fine in your motion. Just back off and stop foot faulting.

YEH, this is the rocket serve that Bolletieri's Academy teaches every good Juniors. but isn't this more difficult to master ? Wide stance like Sampras's serve motion is little easier to accomplish for amateur, isn't it.?? And also does the pinpoint stance serve really enable you to hit a bigger serve like Boletieri said ?????????
