6 out of 15, looks great :)
Just two more (guess which 2) and he'll walk on the water...

To be fair, Djokovic AND Murray share the record for Shanghaï/Madrid. Murray won 3 times in Shanghaï and Madrid in 2008. I hope Nole will play Shanghaï 1 last time before he retires, but it's unlikely at this point.

I hope Djokovic can get 1 more IW. This is the most prestigious Masters by far. He beat Federer so many times in this tournament, he should stand alone there. I also hope he can tie Federer in either Wimbledon or USO (or both, but 1 would be great). Being the boss in 2 or of the 5 Major tournaments is amazing, but 3 or 4 out of 5 would be better... ;)

Lendl doesn't lead Canadian masters, he just leads in Canadian venue, which wasn't the masters when he won majority of his titles there, officially he has less than Nadal there as masters tournament! Nadal holds the record for masters titles with 5...

Tilden is the US Open GOAT, neither Connors, Sampras nor Federer deserve that distinction.

nole has missed a lot of big tournaments when he was i top form for several, most political, reasons: W20, USO20/22, AO22, IW22/23, miami22/23, can22/23 and a lot of other masters canceled do to covid there he should be a favorit.

Don't worry, the Majors tournaments will continue to give the red carpet to your idol so that he continues to have a bed of roses in the draws to come.

We aren't worrying, but It's still a valid argument to point out the cancellation of Wimbledon 2020 and multiple hard courts Masters1000 (Shanghaï 3 times for instance). Djokovic is always the big favorite of every non-clay events. He was undefeated in 2020 and his odd for Wimbledon 2020 was something like 1.95 when they decided to cancel it. He was robbed of a huge opportunity to add a Slam. Nadal wasn't robbed of this chance in RG, as they moved heaven and earth to reschedule the Slam in October. What would the Slam count be today if they had made the opposite decision (cancelling RG 2020 and scheduling Wimbledon later)? We will never know, but what we DO know is that they cancelled Wimbledon and kept RG and therefore it gave Nadal a huge advantage. Same goes for the repeated cancellation of Shanghaï, one of Djokovic's most successful Masters. I'm sure Nadal fans wouldn't be too happy if they'd cancelled Monaco or Rome 3 consecutive years during Nadal's prime years. The impact of covid-19 shouldn't be minimized.

Wimbledon collected the insurance, that's all.
RG did not have that possibility, that is why it had to be played, even if it was on an atypical date.
Masters 1000 are tournaments of lesser relevance to the latter and their eventual cancellation does not matter as much.

Almost no 90s players left on that list, what a shame.
I quite enjoy these stats in the women's game though (WTA Rome):

Most titles United States Chris Evert5
Most finals United States Chris Evert7
Most runner-ups Italy Lucia Valerio4
Czechoslovakia / United States Martina Navratilova
Most consecutive titles Spain Conchita Martínez
(1993–1996)
4
Most consecutive finals Spain Conchita Martínez
(1993–1997)
5

It's refreshing to see that, at least in the women's game, not all records are contemporary or concentrated in three players.
Check out Conchita's incredible stats at this event. No one has come close since.

I believe it should include Stuttgart as well as it was a Super 9/Masters 1000 from 1995 to 2001.

You make a good point. Actually the 8th Masters slot moved from Stockholm (1990-4) to Essen (1995) to Stuttgart (1996-2001) to Madrid (2002-8) to Shanghai (2009 to present). Boris Becker also won 4 titles at this event (3 in Stockholm, 1 in Stuttgart) so should be included with Murray and Djokovic as joint Title Leaders of the 8th Masters 1000.

Djokovic fans complaining about him not vulturing enough in the asterisk era is really hilarious. And sad.
