Is it just me, or does the TK82S grip size run small, compared to let’s say a Wilson grip? I was hitting with a Gravity Pro (which has a TK82S) in my usual grip size and idk it felt a tad smaller. Anyone else think so?
Yep, in my experience they run(feel) half a size small. So for my gravity pros I ordered 4 1/2 and put on skin feel grip (or syntax team) and this feel pretty close to a Wilson 4 3/8, mayybe a smidge thicker
Hi, I've recently received a new Head Speed MP 360+ in my regular size (4 1/4) and felt smaller compared to my previous Babolat and Yonex even with overgrips.
I had the same experience with a demo Gravity MP. So I ordered 2 others Speed MP 360+ in size 3 this time. I would have done the same with the Gravity.
Hope size 3 (4 3/8) will be ok.
I'm new to Head but for my actual Speed MP size 2 (4 1/4) it seems like I can easily upgrade size 3 (4 3/8) just ordering a new pallet and butcap?
I used L4 (4 1/2) on my Head rackets (TK82, Prestige and TK82S, Speed) and when I switched to L4 on Wilson (Blade), I felt that it was bigger. But Head L4 was still bigger than L3 Wilson.
Thanks for your reply. Another guy answered me. He just changed his Gravity pallets from L2 to L1 and asked proshop to weigh and measure the difference and he just told me L2 pallet was 20g and L1 15g but he has not measured buttcap difference. So probably more such as you suggest.
10g difference is quite important. I'll see. Hope it won't change a lot.
