To all Head Prestige Classic/Tour 600 users:

The discussion on TW claimed that the LM Prestige Mid has a bigger sweet spot and some added spin potential due to bigger head, an actual 93 sq.in. head, than the Prestige Classic/Tour but lack feel. It seem like a huge improvement...How many of you agree? and liking it.

How many of you have changed to LM Prestige Mid? and it is ow your regular stick.

Most importantly, Does the heavy swing weight on LM Prestige Mid bother you?

Does the LM Prestige Mid-Plus version play more like the Prestige Clasic/Tour than the Mid version? Given that the swing weight is closer to the classic.

Thank you.

Well, the only thing I complain about LM Prestige Mid is its hefty weight. When I am tired, I can generate no power at all. Every thing else is very good, especially the head acceleration.

TuTu,

that was just a query I put forward after hitting with the LM Prestige mid and comparing it to my old Prestige. The headsize is not actually bigger but it does have a slightly different shape. A little bit rounder than the older models but not actually larger.

I was using the LM Prestige mid but put have sinced moved on to Prince. That is partly to do with Prince offering me some assistance but is, in part, due to the swingweight on the LM. As someone who serve-volleys in singles and plays a lot of doubles I was just finding it too sluggish at net. In all other departments I thought it was a fantastic racquet with a very even performance, a touch more power than the older Prestige models and good comfort. Doesn't have the soft feel of the older versions but is still very, very nice. Id say, all-courters and baseline players would most appreciate the LM Prestige mid.

If Id stuck with Head I probably would have grabbed a couple of i-Prestige frames as the lower swingweight would have been greatly appreciated.

ptuananh..Thanks for the input.

When you say the LM Prestige is hefty, do you mean overall weight of the racquet or the part of the weight located on the head making it feel hefty?

Thanks for the explaination..AndrewD.

Did you, or anyone, tried putting weight on the handle to make it more head light and possibly reduce the swing weight?

Haven't played with the LM Prestige mid, but I use the MP version with considerable added weight along the handle and a little on the throat and head. It's very nice and needs the extra weight. It's lighter than the mid. I'd like to try the mid at some point, but this setup I'm using is excellent. I prefer it to the Classic mid or midplus.
