To fgs, Adding lead

I still feel that the Nblade has a high swing weight. If i add lead to the buttcap, will the swing weight decrease? Adding lead to the buttcap will make it more headlight?

hello there,
first - whatever weight you add you will also increase swingweight. depending on where you add it it will increase swingweight more (added at the hoop or throat) or less (added at the butt-cap).
second - adding weight at the buttcap will change the balance to more headlight and thus will make your blade feel more maneuverable.
what is your problem though? are you hitting long, don't you get enough spin?

o.k. - when you hit long is your upper body leaned slightly backwards? i think that you are not properly going into the ball when you hit. step into the ball when making contact and try to keep an upright posture of the upper body, and don't start the recovery step until you finished the follow through. this is an exercise to make until you got that sequence right, than you can speed things up, since a fast recovery is essential in todays tennis. but if you take your body out of the stroke too soon, you are going to recover for the next point.:D

Oh yea, manueverbility is also a problem. This racket slows me down, compared to my former racket. Would you recommend adding some lead to the butt.
Thanks, i will take your advice. I'm just going through my growing pains with the blade.

just give it a try with 4-6g at the butt and see how it works out. don't jump to conclusion before going through two hitting sessions, so that you have a little bit time to tune in on the new weight distribution. you might want, for reasons of removability, put the lead above your grip first. go with 4g. if that works you can put 6g in the butt.
