Today, I went to a local pro shop hoping to find some Wilson Bowl O' Fun individual dampeners like a lot of people say most pro shops sell from an open bowl by the cash. Sadly, it was not to be, BUT I did find something else that was quite a surprise. On the used racquet shelf was a PC600(with the star trek font) for only 60$. I looked all over and besides some paint scrapes at 3 and 9 and on the throat, it was in pretty good condition(probably a 7/10 if I had to guess). It's strung with an unbranded string(clear and yellowish, hope it's not Duralast) and has a fairly new white Wilson Pro Overgrip over what I can see is still the original leather. Of course I snatched it up, and am now a happy owner of one of the "holy grail" players racquets . Will post pics if anyone cares to see them.

Upload them to an image sharing site like tinypic.com and post the links here.

Great find, and very nice indeed. This frame is notorious for distortion but the head shape of yours looks perfect. Take care while stringing it!:)

Heres some more pics, and I hit with it yesterday, simply AMAZING, it's gonna be my new stick, and to think, I was about to spend a total of 300$ on a new YT prestige MP, but damn, this blows it out of the water. I've never liked mids before, but now I'll always demo Prestige Mids in the future.

Good looking frame, I really hope you enjoy it...if not, hit me up. I'll be sure to give it a good home! =)

Anyway, take good care of the frame and let us know how it hits!

That's my exact racquet that I have been playing with since the mid 90's. I wish I had more of them.
    Enjoy it.

It plays FANTASTIC. I was hitting with it alongside a YT Prestige MP that I was demoing(and planning on buying) but DAMN, the PC600 just did everything the YT did but 3x better!I'm definately gonna play matches with it until it gets too worn. After that I'll try and find a modern Prestige Mid, because before playing with the PC600, I always hated mids, but this one just clicked. I've never found line of racquets that really clicked with me before, but thanks to this find, I know Prestige Mids will always be my first choice when looking for a new racquet

If you're going to be comparing Prestiges, try to compare the YT Prestige Mid v. the PC600. Out of the Prestiges, the current YT wasn't too bad and I really liked the MG but there's something about the PC600 that really stands out.

I'd like to but I don't really have that much money for tennis right now. Whenever the PC600 HAS to be replaced I'll keep the YT Prestige Mid in mind, but for now I'm plenty contempt with the PC600 :)
