Yes, but the first choker stopped being a choker long enough to win 2 Grand Slams. Now the guy who helped the first choker to achieve this has been hired to help the second choker do the same. So what's the problem?

Do you really believe that Vallverdu had much to do with Murray's slam wins?
Those wins were mostly about Lendl and of course Murray himself.
Vallverdu is like a lackey.

Lendl himself has gone on record as saying how much he valued Vallverdu's contribution to Murray's team and I believe it's possible he may have actually recomended Vallverdu to Berdych.

It's easy enough when you are not able to discern that which separates the top players. I've stopped paying attention to the use of terms like choker, tanker, bot etc. They say more about the author than they ever will about the player.

Evidently Valerdu walked out on Murray because he didn't like Mauresmo's coaching.
Murray is making a huge mess out of his tennis career. He said he depended a lot of Valerdu.

Nothing he could have done about Lendl going but hiring Mauresmo has just been a big mess. Now he has lost Valverdu and Green.
Why was he playing Indian Tennis exho instead of either resting or training.

Murray already has a poor h2h against Berdych. Now with his ex coach on the other side the Brit can forget beating Bird anymore

I hardly think Berdych needs any advice on how to play Murray. He already has a positive H2H against him. However, hiring Murray's former friend and coach may actually spur Murray on to do better against Berdych in the future! :wink:

Lol, will be epic...
Murray's best period was 11-13. Berdych's best was 12-13. During the overlapped period their h2h is 3-3, and Murray leading Slam h2h 1-0. Not much to separate really.
