Toni Nadal : ´ Djokovic is winning everything when Federer and Nadal are not at their best´

Incredible to think that Djokovic, if he wins his next encounter with Nadal will have beaten him seven times in a row, twice!

Considering the second most successful player against Rafa has 11 wins overall. Novak more than double that. Also history will be made if Rafa loses again to Novak, since he will be the first to lose 26 times to the same player.
The way he turned that thing boggles my mind. I keep forgetting that Nadal was even ahead by 14-4 in '09... it's not just the wins going the other way, but the nature of them! Nadal doesn't win sets very much anymore! Outside of his lone win at RG in these past 11 matches, he's won one set (!!)

Sorry, can you not read??? At all??? Go back to school you stupid piece of cr@p. I never said Djokovic would beat a prime Federer at Wimbledon you delinquent little phuck.
Insulting others make you feel like a big man, Napoleon?

"In truth, I think the only player who can't be beaten at his absolute best is Nadal at the French Open. Djokovic however would have his chances against Federer at Wimbledon."

That's you implying Djokovic would beat peak Fed at Wimbledon, mind telling me why you resorted to insults considering you were wrong?

I wonder why you are even a member on here, honestly. Smart enough to comment crap, not intelligent enough to walk away.

It is interesting that Djoker gets no respect - from the media, from the tennis community. When Fed and Nadal were on top you never heard or read the types of criticisms you do of Djoker. They were revered and treated like gods.

Nadal has always been subject to rumours about doping and even his sexuality so that's hardly being treated like a god.

The idea of Djokovic being treated unkindly is very exaggerated.

Federer and Nadal had a rivalry, whereas Djokovic is unrivalled and a champion without a key rival is a little boring.

That's because Djokovic is a robot which is the antithesis to being a god.

From prominent members of the tennis community? (Murray, Uncle Toni?) From the mainstream media? Hardly. You're recalling tabloid, message forum-type nonsense. In Djoker's case, it's quite different.

That's the least the ATP can do; they know who they really want to feature but they have to feature the robotic #1. They also know that the ATP site is not where the tickets are sold.

Hm... your wish may be for them to feature the current #1, but they opted to feature the GOAT, instead.

Did he delete those posts? Was looking for them to hit the report button.

Djokovic is just happy Federer is half a step slower and nadal is injured. Also, he should give half his prize money to his scottish pigeon, andrew murray

Well it's not entirely true. It is true that recent Djoko has not faced peak Federer, but he clearly destroyed peak Nadal in 2011. Anyone who denies that is completely delusional. Nadal had his best run across all surfaces that year with only Djoko better than him.

Isn't Toni just talking about the most recent years?

I would like to contribute:
the only reason that Fedalovitch were able to dominate was because Sampras isn't playing any more. If he was playing the form of his great years on the tour, they wouldn't have won everything in the way they did.

The fact is, Djokovic faced both Federer and Nadal at their best and when that happened he lost. How can you make an assumption that Sampras would beat them when they haven't even played once?

Most top players often have wives or girlfriends travelling with them year-round, and they're usually seen in the player's box during matches. Nadal on the other hand stands out because of a the lack of a regular travelling partner. Either his Uncle forbids him from living like that which is sad for a 30yr old to be still controlled in that way or it's something else.

Yup, pretty much what's to be expected when two former GOATS are fading, replaced by a new dominant player and the fans / media / marketing so heavily invested in the old guys don't want to accept the change. Just the dying breathe of the Fedal generation.

Just to note - Djoker gets a ton of respect from media and fans - how many countless media articles proclaiming Djoker the new GOAT have been reposted here? Not to mention the legion of Djoker fans on TTW. Pretty much the only lack of respect is coming from Fedals.

It's Nadal who is the poster boy of the Rio Olympics for tennis not the World #1.

Just for fun, hop over to the official site for tennis at the '16 Olympics, and check whose image is featured, and who's given top billing. :D

Owned.

ClayQ where u been the last year? Rafa wins one match and suddenly you're out of hiding? Better to just slink back to retirement. Djoker gonna spank dat Rafa azzz at RG in a few months just like last year.

This is all true and only idiots would disagree. Djokovic was always going to be nadal's heir to the throne just as nadal was to federer. Nadals two uso wins over djokovic, on djokovic's best surface does show that nadal's best was better than djokovic on any surface bar indoors and plexicushion. Federer at his best was better than djokovic on anything.

But, nothing lasts forever, djokovic is now top man and deservedly so. For toni nadal to publicly state these comments is classless and rafa needs to tell him to shut up, just as djokovic has done to his father before.

While fans have a right to criticise players etc, I find it sad that so many high profile people like murray, and toni nadal and various newspapers seek to fenigrate djokovic. Djokovic is now the greatest player in the world, he has not claimed nadal and federer are at their peak...did toni need to come out with this? Classless.
truth is truth, unnecessary to state perhaps, but still true regardless.

also, i think he went out of his way not to denigrate Djockovic. qualifying his statement alot.

and honestly, many of Djockovic's fans, especially those that patronize this forum, need to hear the truth!

And when they faced him at HIS best... how'd that work out? Bottom line is Fed and Djoker's primes barely overlapped, if at all, from 2008-2012. Rafa has no excuse, he's only a year older than Djoker. His decline at 28 put the nail in the coffin of any GOAT arguments for him.

Besides that if you just look at their actual quality of play Rafa never approached a level like Djokers form in 2011 and 2015. His serve, ROS and BH aren't even in the same universe. Basically, his FH was occasionally better at its peak. That's it.

Hey you realize Rafa was a complete non-factor at every major ATP event last year, often gone before the 3rd/4th rounds and Tennis did just fine? Like, u noticed that right? Nobody missed him. Nobody gonna miss him after Djoker ends his career at RG 16

Yes, 2013 proves this.

LOL

Peak Djokovic isn't even close to peak Nadal on any surface except slow hard. Same goes for Federer.

Lol k. The sad truth is this: Djoker will likely break Rafa's spirit this year when he (or worse, some MUG dumps Rafa out of RG) and Djoker continues to dominate all year. Rafa's will to keep fighting is nearly broken. Djoker is gonna end his career and put his career achieves in the rearview mirror. That should be a fun ride for you lol

Im not a Nadal fan but ok, whatever you say.

Djokovic is 29 years old. His domination is either already over or nearly over. He won't even equal Nadal's Slam count.

I guess we'll know in the next 6 months. Better hope that 1 loss (on the year lol) truly reflects a precipitous decline. I doubt it.

Didn't your mummy teach you to not talk behind others backs?

LOL it's a public forum and you have been regular for a looong time here. Not my problem if you find this treatment too harsh. Try not whining about it too much.

I don't find it harsh. I find it immature, childish and wimpy. If you wanna talk about me do it to my face, not behind my back like a scared little 5-year old girl. You don't have to poke your nose into each conversation I have on this forum.

Djokovic is better than Nadal on every surface except clay and he has proven that already.

Peak for peak only on slow HC.

Fast HC - 2010/2013 US Open. Nuff said.
Grass - 2008 Queen's + Nadal's 2007/2008/2010 runs top whatever runs Djokovic had against 50-year old Federer.
Clay - I think Nadal beating Djokovic 20 times in a row at the FO is more than enough evidence.

Besides, I wasn't whining in this thread. Just because you see my name next to a post doesn't mean that I'm writing the same way all the time. You don't have to poke your nose into other people's affairs/conversation.
You told me several times to stop replying to you. Now that I am not doing that, you are complaining again. Will you make up your mind already?

Yes you are, and it was proved many times before. Stop whining. :D

Well one thing is for sure...It would take a miracle for Nadal to win either the US Open or Wimbledon again. Are we going back to 2008 now? LOL. In 2011, Djokovic destroyed 25 year old Nadal on every surface. That was peak to peak. He has a better record at every Slam except the French. Case closed.

I see you're working in unison again. Do you need to invite your family too to counter me on this forum too?
That's adorable, you think you are significant here while the truth is you are a laughing stock among all normal posters.
