Toni Nadal: Sinner Alcaraz rivals have already whithdrawn.

I think we will have to disagree, unfortunately. Djokovic in most’s eyes has certainly lost a step.

Eye test , LOL !

Meanwhile without Sinner , our man wil be stomping Zedmedpas and Ruud Rublev Rojas to win 12 more majors in 5 years

You don't think Djokovic is worse today than he was in 2023? genuine question.
It’s simple. Novak coughed up Wimbledon 23. Proceeded to blow his wad by beating everyone from that moment until end of season. And it essentially wrecked him.
He’s been injured and unable to train/practice properly ever since.
I wouldn’t say he’s worse. I’d say he’s just not been healthy.
Taking a different approach to this offseason so,
2026 could be interesting. We will see.

He's not even turned on by slams anymore, no matter how much he keeps saying he's only interested in them. The OI were the only thing that mattered to him in the last two years.

He is now a part-time player, devoting half of his time to his family, the rest to tennis and sponsors. I believe that he is only prolonging his career because of OI28.

Yeah, iirc he's said himself that Nadal retiring made him less interested in competing as much. He maybe has just lost the hunger as well.

He wasn't .... because we did not notice him until he reached the US Open final.
A bit harsh. Djokovic beat Federer in the 2007 Montreal final, after beating Nadal earlier in the tournament. Djokovic also beat Nadal at 2007 Key Biscayne, and won the title by beating Canas in the final (the last best of 5 sets masters final). Nadal had beaten Djokovic in the 2007 Indian Wells final, to cap off a dominant tournament for Nadal. Federer had, of course, beaten Djokovic at the 2007 Australian Open, the last one held on Rebound Ace, a tournament which Federer dominated.

Bla bla bla always, but they NEVER tell why Djokovic STATPADDED decade slams just bcz he never faced a younger ATG and enjoyed for multiple years a non existent competition

Sinner is more or less at Murray's level. Alcaraz is somewhere between Murray and the big 3.

see his point...but honestly they are simply a solid notch above anyone else on tour. neither has an exploitable weakness. will be interesting if anyone can put toegether the game to challenge them consistently...mensik, draper...fonseca?...or maybe shelton if he can inprove the RoS and stay healthy.

Yeah they are just that good, every metrics and eye test says they are same category as early big 3

We know 2006 was relatively weak due to Fed's gen getting injured while the new gen (other than Nadal) was yet to arrive, but in terms of potential future stars, look at this:

top 100 teenagers in 2006: Djokovic, Murray, del Potro

top 100 teenagers in 2025: Fonseca, Mensik, Tien

Seems clear which group is better, even without the benefit of hindsight the 2006 teens would've held more promise just looking at their games.
The 2025 group are in their first or second year on tour lol.
