Top 10 W-L for YE Top 10 (YEC excluded) since 1990

Wimby 2011 was pretty tame from him, as far as I could tell. I would say USO 2011 too but that 3rd set fixes things.
USO 2011 was decent IMO. Great start then poor ending to first. Even second until the end and a great third and a very bad after the start. Wimbeldon 11 had 2 good/great sets one below par set in the 4th and one really bad set in the second. I would say Wimbeldon 11 was average and USO 11 decent. Not great on prime level for Nadal though.

How is Federer supposed to have played Murray and Djokovic that much when they were not fully part of his era until about 2007-08 time?
That's why he had it easier.

The other ATGs of this era were born 5-6 years after him, so he had an easy start to vulture slams.

The competition did get stronger after some of the earlier Federer era years but the field today is not stronger than when Federer was winning.

Dont agree with that... Anyway, Rafole are 33/34,while Fed was at his peak at that time... Not comparable...
Are Fed fans aware at all, that only Fed himself, the goat, was greater obstacle for Rafole at their carrier begining, than all Fed oponents together. Nadal and Novak had to put down greatest ever, player who dominated tour for years like no one did before him... And they did that, in quite short time... That is why they are so great, they brought down The King... Fed had luxury to bring down lets say... practically nobody...

What?
Djokovic took long to do so it didn’t happen soon. He didn’t get the better of Fed until 2011. Only Nadal did as early as 2004 when he first beat Federer.
I disagree with the idea Federer was at his peak and the same goes with Nadal and Djokovic at 32/33.
I did say the competition got tougher after but it today’s era isn’t the same as it used to be and it’s clearly worse than the years Federer was dominating IMO.

They dont appear to add up. The head to head should be close even no?

See early 90s stats for strong era in the past. 1992 top 4 played 56 top 10 matches total - a great figure in the heterogenised tour. Late 90s / early 00s was a lull period due to the Kuerten gen underperforming and injuries befalling many top players.
But that was a weak era.

Worst pre-YEC top 10 winning %:

1990 #10 Gilbert 0-6
2001 #9 Henman 0-3
2002 #10 Roddick 0-5
2004 #9 Nalbandian 0-4
2006 #6 Roddick 0-4 (1-6 with YEC included)
2007 #10 Robredo 0-6

2012 #8 Tsonga 1-12 (1-15 with YEC included, mylol)
2001 #4 Kafelnikov 1-7
2005 #8 Coria 1-7
2011 #10 Almagro 1-7
1996 #1 Krajicek 1-6
LOL; the Greats. Coria was great, but shoulder surgery and yips hurt 2005.

Pretty vacuumy years these once you get beyond the top few.

So Djokovic met the most top-10 in 7 years (one tied), Federer 4 years (one tied), Nadal 3 years.

Mindblowing consistency and competition for Djokovic o_O o_O o_O

Why would you exclude ye championship?

It wasn't the strongest period. *shrugs* That said, big numbers don't always translate into tough opposition, as long as pigeons and lapdogs are happy to provide easy win services.
I agree. I would have thought 07 would be higher that was the start of the big 3 era and it quite heavy at the top.
