Who would you say has the weakest serve in terms of:

speed
accuracy
spin
consistency
the mental factor

Gilles Simon has a very slow serve by ATP standards, not to say it is weak though. As for the mental factor, Djokovic comes to mind.

Gaudio...or any of the clay courters...usually do a kick on 1st and 2nd serve

Hewitt has trouble with consistency but he doesn't really have a bad serve

Having plenty of spin on your serve doesn't make it a strong serve.

But Berdych seems to have a pretty weak kick serve...

Hewitt has one of the most accurate serves in todays game.

coria maybe
nadal maybe

about spanish players and claycourters, its not true that all of them have weak serves, look at moya

Ferrer has practically no serve at all. He only focuses on getting it in.

edit: Okay it isnt the worst in terms of consistancy, but its mentionable because its so slow.

Tell me about it. Some numbers I remember them zooming in on were 81 mph first serve (Fish hit a winner on this one), 77 mph first serve, 93 mph first serve, 69 mph second serve (this was a double fault), 135 mph second serve (this was a double fault on set point to lose 0-6), a shanked first serve that went straight into the audience, and another double fault on match point. I've never heard Brad Gilbert more critical of a player in a commentary.

Simon for current players. His serve is just like the rest of his game. Slow and boring.
Coria would take it for top 100 players of the past few years.

Del Potro???? okay so it isn't a bad serve but for someone his height..it could be better

Gasquet's a couple of years back

One of the worst from years ago was by a player named Fransisco Montana. A great junior player from Miami back in the day. Competed quite well with Mal Washington; David Wheaton; AL Parker, etc. Horrible serve though. Just didnt have the natural mechanics no matter how hard he tried. He ended up having somewhat of a successful doubles career on the tour. Obviously, didnt last too long. He switched to coaching. Sorry FM if youre reading this!

yeah although its wierd cuz i remember he clocked at 150 during the FO once. the fastest of the tourney

When Sharapova not on par, she will definitely make a lot of double faults on her matches but still like her a lot. The worst is Jankovic no energy at all. For men - Davydenko of course.

well that match, his fastest was 123, with average 105 for first serves.

Not according to the SB I stared at as there was no stream for the match, but even at 105 average, how is that a strong first serve? Most guys serve faster than that on the second.

No, they don't, except perhaps Feliciano López, Wesley Moodie, John Isner and Ernests Gulbis. I can only think of four players who regularly hit 2nd serves over 105 mph on average.

I would say Volandri.
I agree.
