Topspin Cyber Flash - Red?? What happened?

Hello all,

Almost 5 years ago when I was playing frequently and consistently, I used Top Spin Cyberflash 16G exclusively. I used the string for myself as well as for customers and though I'd tried many others in the early days, Cyber Flash was unbeatable because of the cost and performance. Only incremental gains could be found for a doubling in cost, and I was pleased to use a string that I had such a history with and resulting confidence.

I recently started playing again and used up my last bit of Cyber Flash 16G. I ordered a new reel online and it was just delivered. And it is RED! What's going on here?

What's the latest on Top Spin Cyber Flash? 5-7 years ago, they changed the formula and I kept using it. Has it changed again? I can't find anything online that references a version that is colored red. It is labeled "Topspin CYBER FLASH" 1.30 mm, EXTREME SPEED. What'd I buy!?!?

Looks like you ordered a Red Version... Lots of strings come in different colors

Any comments on the latest offering? Any other differences versus the last few years? Used to really like this stuff.

Never heard or tried the red one I have tried cyber red however but do tell us how it compares to the original silver one.

Just spent the day playing with this stuff. Can confirm - still an awesome string! Consistently happy with this stuff, even putting cost aside. Seems really difficult to justify spending more than $80 a reel while this is still around.

I find topspin cyber flash RED to be crisper than SILVER, but not as crisp as cyber BLUE.
I was curious myself and decided to do a side x side x side comparison
Read a while back (here is tt.), That the color changes the feel.
