A single high-low-high swing it is. Just as coach Kyril explains here, nothing more nothing less.
I've tried it on the court, my timing is way off with the toss and I'm unable to get the serve anywhere near in. I think for me, itll be like switching to a 2hbh - a completely different stroke with different timing and feel. I'll need a bucket of balls and many hours dedication. Maybe a party hat...Completely loosen your arm when serving and take a vid. Let's see if it makes a difference.

I think the first one.So when you loosen your arm you can't serve right at all?? So you have been serving with a tight grip/arm all along?
Or are you saying when you try to consciously drop the racquet (eg scratch you back) your serve is way off?
I think the first one.
But I wont try to change it while competition is on, literally could not get the ball in the box
Yes!!! That is the video I mentioned a couple weeks ago when you got all mad at me. What happened to make you do something other than this?Seems like I was pretty much doing it right a while ago. Loop and drop all there. Not very efficiently but it's there.
He didn’t mention pronation, but your arm has to be doing something to change the racquet orientation. Racquet head high to racquet head low - you have two choices pronation or supination. Backswing to drop is pronation, forward swing to finish it is supination. So elemental he didn’t think he needed to use terminology.Interesting explanation of racket drop here. Without even mentioning pronation.
It's the same opponent in many of your videos. How are you doing against him, h2h?Some points from this morning.
@user92626 , you'll see some forehands there where I was focusing on getting the left hand up and out of the way. I think it's important.
Another good thing is I seem to split step almost every time now.
He quit TT in case you missed it. Poor chap said he was addicted.Looks like we already overwhelmed @Curious with enough info. He is obsessed with a specific path in his journey to find the ultimate OHBH. Let us take a deep breath and allow him to digest, experiement and find it on his own. At this point any extra info we give him would be just repeatations, or "i told you so" posts. I will check after a few weeks to see where he is at. (hopefully he won't go to slice only).

Yep. I can honestly say no coach helped me with mine and one even wanted me to show him what I was doing.Probably a good thing for him. He probably may improve his OHBH faster, if he just don't think too much and follow his personal coach and just hit a few balls. It is not supposed to be this complicated![]()
