I know there are a lot of posts on this topic, but what is the best/quickest way to learn the topspin serve as a 2nd serve? I would like to start out with the topspin serve and eventually move to the twist. Does anyone know a step-by-step way to learn the topspin serve? Any previous threads? I seem to struggle with the concept of hitting up. I read that you should try serving from your knees, or serving from behind the fence into the box in order to learn how to hit up. Does this help? Thanks!

I learned it by picking up an eastern backhand grip for serve, so I'm forced to spin it upward otherwise the ball won't pass the net. Or you could just conciously close the racket face significantly.

im useless on how the motion should look, but once you get it down the most important things are swing speed and explosion up into the serve
