Otoro mains have crazy snap back when compared to tour sniper. Playing with otoro in the mains forces me to swing out and get control through heavy spin. Tour sniper is a solid string, but I currently prefer otoro right now.Would love a comparison between Otoro and Sniper (or M8) here.

Enso Pro has been a great option for me. I just recently tried O Toro Snap and it seems great too.O-Toro mains with which cross for the softest stringbed and most spin potential?
I always wish I knew the racquet in which the string was used and what pattern. Otherwise it's little hard to benefit from user opinions. Otoro is a lot softer than tour sniper. Otoro seems very elastic and have pretty poor tension maintanance.Otoro mains have crazy snap back when compared to tour sniper. agree, but also people here seem to use so many racquets at the same time that it can get messy ahahhaI always wish I knew the racquet in which the string was used and what pattern. Wanna just give an update after roughly 20 hrs of use on my PA98, the strings have settled in nicely. Still very comfortable, didn’t have any jarring issues like the racket feeling too stiff. Snapback is still good, although the main strings are starting to notch into my cross strings especially in the sweetspot. I think my initial complaint of spin modulation was both me getting used to the racket and just my level of play at that time lol. Currently I have good access and control to spin as long as I remember to hit through the ball and let my racket lag a bit. Power is also good, my serves have good pace and spin which is great. There are still times where I need a bit more control since the ball launches a bit too far, so I’ll probably string it 2-4lb heavier and see if I get a bit more control without sacrificing the comfort I get. Definitely a fun combo I’ll go back to after a bit of experimentation of string combos in my PA98PA98 user, I've gone with O-Toro in the mains and Snapper in the crosses both strung at 50lb. Good power and comfort, but spin modulation hasn't been great for me on groundstrokes. Could be just level related because I'm finding it hard to flick my wrist to generate even more topspin with this racquet, but I feel like I didn't have this issue with RPM Blast in a demo racquet. Might go O-Toro Tour and Wasabi X hybrid to make it a bit crisper than what I'm using while retaining the comfort profile hopefully, or might do Confidential x Wasabi X hybrid in the future
I play regularly with Lynx Tour mains with toroline crosses (Enso pro, wasabi x, recently tried toro toro). It works great! Toroline are better crosses in generalI just ordered two reels of Toroline strings (O-Toro Tour and Wasabi X), which I’m planning to test in various hybrid setups.
I noticed that most players here tend to make hybrids using different Toroline strings together, but rarely mix Toroline with poly string from other brands (i.e. "gen 2 polys")
Has anyone tried hybrids such as Luxilon Alu Power, Solinco Tour Bite, Solinco Confidential, Yonex Poly Tour Pro, or Yonex Poly Tour Strike in the mains with, for example, Toroline Wasabi X in the crosses? How did they perform?
I have used as a cross poly tour strike black 1.25, Luxilon 4G soft gold 1.25 and Tour bite round 1.25 with otoro tour 1.23 in mains. Tour bite round bit crisper and stiffer the pts, 4G soft felt clearly the worst one (disconnected etc). My vcore 98 tour stiffness RA 62 so I prefer crisper strings in this racquet. Currently using otoro tour 1.23 fullbed and liking it better than previous setups. Not really noticing that lauch angle is too high or ball impact is inconsistent. Full bed of otoro tour is very nice when hitting second serves, sharp edges really give good ball bite and I have the confidence to hit faster 2nd serves. 53/51 lbs otoro tour on vcore 98 tour (345g static weight and maybe 324 swingweight). Oh sorry, I answered concerning crosses not the mains. My badI just ordered two reels of Toroline strings (O-Toro Tour and Wasabi X), which I’m planning to test in various hybrid setups.
