Anyone recognize the player on the website? Jason Jung. Saw him play a while back at a local tournament. Incredible Ball striker.

how did everyone get the discounted sample pack?

I have tried wasabi in two of my frames. A PK Q+5 pro and custom ZUS. Plays pretty darned good with good pocket and snap back. I did not get any harshness at all. Feel was good so touch type shots worked fine. It played with a consistent response so predictability was good. Pink and red look the same to me or maybe I’m color blond

What was your tension in the PK?

Anyone still using Wasabi? I have a couple of sets, but never tried. I hear it has amazing snap back & decent tension maintenance.

Anyone tried this string? They had a sweet promo where you could get 2 sets for $5 plus free shipping. They also gave me a 3rd set for free for some reason? I have 16g and 17g, but I have no idea what to expect.
i thought these strings had no control. balls flew everywhere including into the fence

I have a half-reel that I bought after going bonkers with it as a cross with Mayami's Big Spin. It was an amazing combo. I've been testing some strings and haven't got back around to it again.

Depends on who's stringing it, IMHO. The secret is it has to be carefully installed so there are no twists in the mains or crosses. In my experience, the more twists you have throughout the string bed, the more inconsistent the response. Awesome ball bite and better than round string spin, but I didn't feel I could hit dependable shots under pressure. However, it seemed to me there was a huge leap in predictability if used in a hybrid setup. Using it as a cross with Mayami's Big Spin was fun as heck. I think the spin doctors/slice masters would really enough the combo.

just bought some toroline wasabi - however they added a few free sample sets - but im confused which string it is - one packet is a shiny purple on the back says pro hybrid in the middle - back bottom left says model wasbi - color neon green - co-polymer - location main - shape square then back bottom right says model wasabi x - color neon blue - type co-polymer - location cross - shape round = as on thr website thrs no string called wasabi x

Im assuming its wasabi and wasabi x = hybrid set sample, just asking to make sure
