Murray looks like a fool in this match. Screaming, gesturing, falling over. Nalbandian doesn't give him a single easy ball to attack, making him run like a rabbit the whole match.

It's also worth noting that Murray wa playing his 13th match in 17 days when he faced Nalby in Paris - Murray had won St Petersurg and Madrid in the two weeks prior to Paris.

As a sight aside, Murray's former coach said last night that Murray is a major fanboy of Nalby!

What are you talking about Vortex?
I watched your link and it looked like a great match with a lot of fantastic rallies.
Two players giving us excellent entertainment but you decide to turn it into humiliation instead. Sad.
Murray didn't look foolish and considering he must have been knackered after 13 games in 17 days, thanks to him for putting in the effort to help make it a great match.
I'm looking forward to some great tennis today, not humiliation.
And as Batz says, Nalbaldian is Murray's hero.

Nalbandian beat Murray in their 2008 Paris Masters quarter final because he was just too good. He was playing just as good as he had the previous year at the same event. Only in the semi final and final did his level drop, the latter of which he actually lost to Tsonga. Still incredibly entertaining matches, though.

vortex1 is the most insecure Nadal fan on TW. Vortex1 says that Nalbandian humiliated Murray but forgets that Nalbandian has given Nadal 2 of the top 3 losses of his career along with Tsonga.

Nalbandian was in God mode in the 2007 Madrid and Paris Masters. Nothing anybody could have done at those tournaments to beat him.

I don't really think it's about that. I think he's just trying to point out how fail vortexclown is.

Looking at the way Nalbandian crushed the Sod's serves, I cringe to think of what will happen to poor Murray. In particular, his 2nd serve is about 10x worse than Soderling's, and Nalbandian crushed that. I don't see a way for Murray to win here....

Calm down people! (almost) all TW is cheering for david, but let's not forget that he is coming back from longs periods of inactivity. So it'll be natural even if he loses easy in two sets.

Are you kidding? Just about everyone on tour is a ballbasher, there is very, very few players who have a game similar to Murray's. The immediate tennis world would be a poorer, less varied place without him. There is no 'right way' to play tennis, that's what makes it great.

Oh and I suggest you look up the meaning of the word 'alluded'.

So David Nalbandian is a "ballbasher"? What a joke of a stamement. Oh and seeing as it's suggestion time, I suggest you go look up the use of inverted commas.

I have the same thoughts on Murray, even though I live in England I have never been a fan of the way he plays, he just pretty much knocks the ball in play and waits for the other guy to miss.
Nalbandian has sublime variety in his game yes he can attack from the baseline, but he also can play the patient game and his net game and slice have improved no end! so I too agree that it would be better for tennis if he wins this match I will be rooting for him all the way for sure!

Thanks for agreeing.

Talk about being misquoted. Where did I call David Nalbandian a ballbasher? The only joke here is the irrational hatred shown towards Murray by the majority of posters.

What an earth are you blabbering about inverted commas? The use of ' is perfectly acceptable.

Umm I'm gonna choose Murray. I'm probably in the few who appreciate Murrays game. It's much harder than it looks. The fitness required to hang with people who are going for their shots it's amazing. Djoker definitely wouldn't be able to do it and he's my favorite player. Nadal does it sometimes but we see the effect it has on his body. I especially like it when you can tell he is actually setting up the point rather than just "pushin" and hoping his opponent errors themselves to death.

Big match for both players: Murray playing for his top 4 ranking and Nalbandian trying to be seeded at the USO.

Come on, Andy....

Yep. Whoever wins will takes buckets of confidence from it. I think we're in for a great match.

C'mon Andy!

After Murray's performance yesterday it's hard not to expect David's winning streak to continue..

Sky Sports actually doing great broadcasting of this tournament, good for us UK people :D The evening session starts at midnight here but Sky are still showing it live in HD 8-)

I mss Sky. I'm in America where ESPN are showing children playing baseball instead of tennis.

Nalby is a player back from injury(ies) trying to get his ranking back up....Murray on the other hand...

Is trying to stay in the top 4, hasn't won a title all year and hasn't been impressive on hard courts other than the AO.

Great pass....

And who's fault is that? its not like he was injuried and that caused this.

I like both just fine too....prefer Murray though.....

100 mph second serve from Murray....that's as big as I've ever seen him hit it....
