You don't rafa to earn his wins? you avoided my question yesterday....you'd rather the opponent just shake his hand before the match? or better yet....you want the officials to just hand him the trophy?

That would save me a lot of nail biting!

Nalbo is not fat, just thickset

My uncle doesn't follow the players like we do, and when we were watching Nalbandian from about 10 feet away at IW, his first comment was "This guy really just doesn't look as fit as the other players."

Nalbandian simply isn't in the best shape, no excuses.

Murray is playing flawless tennis and serving great, currently.

Nalbandian missing way too many first serves.

Looks like the Nadal match will start right on time

Nalbo is done

Kudos to Murray for stepping it up and playing aggressively

5-2 Murray up a double break

It seems like your guy never wins :p

Solid win from Murray, Nalbandian might not have been brilliant but he wasn't allowed to play. The first of Murray's matches in Toronto this year that have actually been worth a watch...

Meh, off to bed. Can't believe I stayed until 4:23 AM for this mug performance. Fatbandian even failed to make Murray tired. Thanks for nothing.

How about this for history repeating!

Murray and Nadal played Wimbledon 2008 Rafa wins straight sets and wins title!

2008 Murray and Rafa play Toronto Semis Rafa wins in straight sets

2010 Wimbledon Rafa beats Murray in straights

2010 Toronto, will the pattern follow? I sure hope so :)

As I thought and voted, Murray would raise his game and win. Although I'm surprised it was this easy.

I think when voting on polls like this, a few people on here seem to forget that Murray isn't ranked number 4 for no reason. He's a different player to the one who lost to Nalbandian before.

Murray just has too much in his game when playing well.

Nadal is playing in 5 minutes

When playing well and aggressively

Nalbandian.. has done a great job. He deserves some rest now.. his schedule has been pretty tight these last weeks.

He will be hyper interesting in US Open.

I expected it to go the other way too, ambk. Surprises from both the way they've been playing recently.

And an ace on MP.

nalbo was bound to have an off-day sooner or later, but I didn't expect murray to play this well ... the best match he's played since the nadal match @ AO ?

Listen to all the excuses by the commentators for Nalbo.

Murray played a flawless match.

Nalbandian was way too passive. You never got the sense that he was doing something to change the way the match was going.

BUT:

He just won a title
and
$262,000
and improved his ranking by 72!

Which of the "other players" has those resuls? hmmmmmmmm???
