Tossing arm tension

The tossing arm schould be straight and only one - the schoulder - join. So is some tension needed in the tossing arm.
How much tension?

I have the tendency to interact elbow, wrist join or the fingers do cause problem too. If i care about to strech my tossing arm, the toss is better, but the whole motion worse.

Thank you for your answer

Not aware of much tension in the tossing arm at all. Neutral wrist and little or no bend in the elbow. Some are ok with a very slight bend in the elbow. No wrist action should be employed. Some high level players might have some elbow action as they lift the ball but I would suggest that most players should execute the toss without any elbow action.

Lift from the shoulder as your weight shifts forward. As the tossing hand reaches the proper level, just open up the fingers to release the ball. The hand/arm should continue upward after the release so that it is vertical (more or less) for your trophy position.

Tossing is a touch motion.
To have good touch, you cannot have much tension. The looser your arm is, the more feel and touch you have.
