Still weak but much better now with the true goat back.
Backdal may not make it back until clay season. Can't be giving Djokovic any more confidence than he already has by playing HC.Nadal still not back, maybe Miami

He is scheduled to play Dubai which begins March 14.Fed had to fight a lot to beat some Evans.
He will need one week to rest, when is he playing again?
Massive win for Federer. Slam race not over at all. Trust me. Evans is no mug on a fast court.Fed is back on tour. Gets a win. It has to be asked.
you cannot be seriousMassive win for Federer. Slam race not over at all. Trust me. Evans is no mug on a fast court.
Federer is old, Nadal is bald, and Djokovic is injured.Strong era again.
Federer is Palpatine of tennis.
Djokovic is Darth Vader.
And Nadal is Darth Maul.
Some Djoker fan copied your thread and titled it a bit differently. You get the kudos for originality and humour.Fed is back on tour. Gets a win. It has to be asked.
There's a photoshop idea in there somewhere...Strong era again.

Palpatine is the strongest Sith Lord, and has a winning h2h in duels with the other 2, as well as everyone else in the photo, so your analogy breaks down.Strong era again.

Haha there is a meme somewhere in there. That is so true.Rey is the mythical hypothetical motivated Kyrgios
It was Maul or Count Dooku for Rafa on the picture, but Dooku is too old to represent Rafa. Probably the best choice for Rafa is Mace Windy. So Roger is Paltatine, Novak is Vader and Rafa is Mace.but Maul could never beat Vader or Palpy

LOL. So Nadal winning RG 2017 is weak era, but Djokovic winning his only RG title in 2016 avoiding Nadal is "strong era".2001-2006 - vacuum era
2007 - transition
2008-2016 - strong era
2017-2018RG - weak vulture era
2018W-present - strong era
Djokovic fans like rewriting history.LOL. So Nadal winning RG 2017 is weak era, but Djokovic winning his only RG title in 2016 avoiding Nadal is "strong era".
Djokovic defeated fellow ATG Murray.LOL. So Nadal winning RG 2017 is weak era, but Djokovic winning his only RG title in 2016 avoiding Nadal is "strong era".

I suppose Nadal did defeat Wawrinka and Thiem so it’s only semi weak.
Him being so good on clay makes his RG titles seem weaker than they are.
Wimbledon 2017 and USO 2017 are certainly very weak titles.

If it makes you feel better, 16/17 RG are about the same, 7/10 decent slams. Also Murray on clay defeated Djokovic in rome weeks before so he is no mug.Novak beating his personal pigeon Murray (on clay) --> strong era
Rafa beating Thiem and Wawrinka (RG champion defeating peak Djokovic 2 years prior) --> semi weak era
Meanwhile, Novak manages the impressive feat of vulturing even with the other two in the picture for the most part now.If it makes you feel better, 16/17 RG are about the same, 7/10 decent slams. Also Murray on clay defeated Djokovic in rome weeks before so he is no mug.
the point is, overall Fedal vultured in 2017/early 2018 with Novak out the picture.
Djokovic defeated Fedal in 4/6 slams won since 2018Meanwhile, Novak manages the impressive feat of vulturing even with the other two in the picture for the most part now.
Which does not change my point lolDjokovic defeated Fedal in 4/6 slams won since 2018
Yes, about the same. Because 2016 Djokovic was beating 2017 Nadal at RG...If it makes you feel better, 16/17 RG are about the same, 7/10 decent slams. Also Murray on clay defeated Djokovic in rome weeks before so he is no mug.

Yes your overall point is correct, but it doesn’t make his opponents strong either.Yes, about the same. Because 2016 Djokovic was beating 2017 Nadal at RG...
Djokovic vultured RG 2016. He won his only RG title avoiding the King of clay. 2016 RG was a weak slam.
2017 RG was not weak, it was just another day in the office for Nadal. I mean it was peak or near-peak Nadal. He was beating any player in front of him in that tournament. Put peak Borg, peak Djokovic, peak Federer, peak LeBron James... it doesn't matter. No one was stopping 2017 Nadal at RG.
Fed is back on tour. Gets a win. It has to be asked.
Tour weak again. It didn't last long.
"Vultured" is too strong a word to describe Novak's RG 2016 win. Of course he took advantage of Rafa's absence, but he still did beat Murray after all. For example, how would you describe Federer's RG 2009 victory, where he beat no one who was at the time a slam champion?Yes, about the same. Because 2016 Djokovic was beating 2017 Nadal at RG...
