Tourna Grip ruined my grip

THe tourna grip when i took it off to put a new once over it, left lots of residue. Its like some of the grip melted onto the grip? I tried rubbing it off, but doesn't work. I think the tackyness of the original prince duratac grip on my shark pulled off some of the tourna and stuck it to the grip. Now, my grip is ruined. i am very dissatisfied with tournagrip. I never had a problem with wilson pro, wilson h2o, nor the extra tacky tournagrip white. Has any1 had a problem like this before, how did you fix it, or did you just get an replacement grip. I am not going to use tournagip original again, it only lasted me a week, but i kept it on for around 3 weeks, as i only play once or twice a week for around 2 hours a session.

I have tons of blue residue on one of my PS Classic 6.1s that I haven't gotten an overgrip for yet. I don't consider my grip ruined, as it will perform the same way.

why do you care just put an overgrip on it there better anyways ...but you can rub goo gone on the grip and it will go away

you kept it on for three weeks? thats why all the residue is there. Hard as it may seem, being less frugal is actually a good thing sometimes. Change the grip when it wears out, and you wont get any residue left behind on the original grip. About 5 hours does it for me and a tourna, and in hot humid eather, its more like 2-3 hours. It feels great when its fresh, and after its not, throw on a fresh one. Problem averted.
