whats L2R? L1B? L3?

If i were to play in a tournament in Middle States(first link) would the points carry over to eastern? If i live on the border of the two..can i just pick which area i want to be in?

edit: when do points reset? like jan 1,2010?

Those are good questions. As for the DR, SR & L2 I can only guess: Hopefully someone from those sections will clarify. If they don't, you need to call those sections or your own district.

My guess is that D stands for designated, S stands for Sectional and R stands for Regional. I don't know if east coast uses Regionals.???

L2, L3, L4 stands for the level. Those are probably the national level codes (instead of the Sectional level codes).

No, you cannot pick & chose which Section you belong to. It goes according to the address you used on your USTA membership card.

If you play a national, in any state, it counts toward your sectional rankings. Conversely, some Sectional and some District tournaments do NOT count toward national points.

thanks i figured it out. Just not sure which region i'm in because my county is not shaded on either's maps, although i havent signed up yet.
