Hi everyone,
I usually track all my hitting sessions with the native Apple Watch "Tennis" workout to close my rings. But my biggest frustration was always the disconnect between the physical effort and the match result. I’d look at my health data and see "600 calories burned," but I wouldn't remember which match that was or what the score was.
So, I developed an app that combines both.
It’s called Tennis Padel Score Keeper.
It runs as a standalone Watch app. While you are keeping score (using simple taps or the digital crown), it works in the background just like a native workout app. It tracks your Heart Rate, Calories, and Duration and saves it all to Apple Health and Apple Fitness.
The best part: After the match, the iPhone logbook shows you the score breakdown alongside your physical stats. You can see exactly how tough that 7-6 set actually was physically.
Has anyone else been looking for a way to merge scorekeeping with fitness tracking? I’d love to hear if you guys pay attention to HR zones during matches.
