I am looking at transferring schools but I was wondering how big the risk would be at attempting to transfer. I understand I need to sign a release form that would waive my athletic scholarship. Would it waive me from my scholarship the next semester or next year? I also have a Academic Scholarship at this school. If i decided to not transfer and return to the original school would I lose my academic scholarship too or is it completely separate? I am thinking about talking to coaches now and then transferring schools in the spring semester.
