Transitioning to semi-western forehand!

Hi

Is there anyone else still here from the old school that still plays with eastern forehand as myself? I want to know if it's worth it to transition to semi-western. As I am aware 99% of modern players play with semi-western. I need more spin on my stroke and consistency so I think semi-western would be right choice for me. What are your thoughts about eastern and semi-western forehand.

I play with heel pad on bevel 4 and index base at the bottom of 3. not eastern but somewhat close.

i use an eastern forehand.. why not improve your game if the eastern already works for you?? i mastered all the shots as a junior and can generate my own spin as well as hit flat on both wings

the point is that your opponent can play with whatever grip they choose.. but as long as your game is better, you are the better player
