Tried & hated Velocity MLT after Confidential- string recommendations needed!

@SF_45er - Very welcome again. And whoops, oversight on the GW gauge, but nevertheless, I think 52/49 would still be a good starting point! Do come back and let us know how it goes!

no poly, hybrid or otherwise, is likely going to last you over 20 hours without irritating an already sensitive arm over multiple stringings. i would accept that as an inconvenient fact and either adapt to non poly or restring more often than you like to in order save your arm down the line, but it is of obviously your call.

in addition to the swift and ghostwire @arzmentioned, you might want to look into isospeed cream, which can still start to feel harsh after 15 hours or so.
Why do you say poly is bad on arm after 20 h? I though it looses tension and maybe play worse after 2oh, but why harder on arm if it may rather become softer then stiffer after 20h?
Thanks

Elasticity is finite in tennis strings. For most people, a nylon or gut string will break before it loses its ability to truly flex upon contact with the ball.

Polyester on the other hand is durable enough to withstand the impact of a low-swing-speed player with what little elasticity remains after 20 hours. Once the elasticity is virtually gone, the vibrations once absorbed through string flexion travel into your arm.

I know a guy who insisted on those dumb useless V elbow straps but outright refused to restring his racquet until his Big Banger snapped. He’s going 2.5 years with the same string because “it’s as good as new.”

I played for 10 hours Confidential/Velocity .All Right.Solinco Conf.Tour Bite.Outlast.Everything is very tough and durable. It is better to use in hybrids
