Trigger Finger surgery

I recently had trigger finger surgery. Tennis is most likely the culprit. Has anyone had this
Surgery and is still playing tennis?? Is it ok to keep playing after healing?

Just looking for other people experiences.

What is the surgeon's explanation for the cause? If it's caused by tennis, more specifically by how you play tennis, then isn't it likely the TF will recur if you resume playing?

OTOH, if he can identify specific things in your game that you can change, then maybe it'll be fine.

For example, do you use a death grip on your racquet?

I just had this surgery and I am not happy at 8 weeks post op. I may have injured it when I tried hitting lightly at the 5-week mark but now I have a noticeably raised BUMP right where the A1 Pulley release surgery was done. Maybe I injured another tendon but I believe it could all be from using Kevlar strings and I plan to reduce tension and try natural gut. This is so disappointing. I think I just have bad hand arthritis.

Hello Mark. I still have some minor scar tissue residual. It’s like a callus. No pain when I hit or normal daily activities. If you have pain you should speak to the surgeon. Im
Living with the callus pain free.
