I have a question about aramid based strings. I have gamma progression 602 dropweight stringer and i am very confused while stringing with aramid strings. The dropweight wont even pull the strings like a regular string such as synthetic gut. can someone help me?
aramid strings are pretty stiff, barely softer than barbed wire :twisted: try giving the string more slack as aramid doens't stretch like other strings.
That's the difference - aramid (aka Kevlar) doesn't stretch at all. It is very pleasant stuff to string, though - albeit difficult to get through a blocked hole.
Like Kreative said, leave some slack in the string between the frame and the string gripper. Then lower the arm. You'll have to experiment to see how much is enough.
