Was just browsing Tier One's website and saw Atomos, their newest upcoming string, scheduled for the end of May:
Photos (click to enlarge):
Specifications:
- Material: Co-Poly
- Color: Silver/Gray
- Gauges: 16 (1.30), 17 (1.25), 18 (1.20)
- Shape: Not precisely disclosed, they only mention "Unique geometric shape", I'd guess it's lightly shaped, maybe some RPM-ish flower petal and/or Cyclone-ish gear type relief structure going on as well
- Made in Germany (a change from Taiwan, where all their others strings are made)
Will be interesting to see how it compares to the rest of the line.
Thoughts?
TL;DR - What's with the "TruPro" branding on all of their packaging? Is it a sub-brand, or is Tier One planning on rebranding? If so, someone should stop them, as "Tier One" is a much, much better name in my opinion, but hey, what do I know!
