I've said it before, but I honestly can't say enough good things about this company.

Their customer service is just excellent. I talked to Stephan several times sending me several sets to sample before I ordered from them. I was mostly interested in their Firewire string, (terrific by the way) and he sent both their tour status and triumph strings to try out as well.

After a month of playing with Firewire I turned my hitting partner on to it, ordered a set for him and a set for myself as well. No questions asked and without saying a word, they threw in a free set of their duraflux string with the order.

Their products are great as well. But their customer service has really made a good impression on me. I know it's a little thing, but it goes a long way.

Hope this post doesn't step on any toes. Just wanted to give T1 their due props.

I have a reel of FireWire and TourStaus. Most of my clients prefer TourStatus over similar black shaped strings.
I'm a fan of the FW

TierOne is great. i bought a reel of FireWire & Durafluxx. both fantastic strings. Pro Status played great from hours 1 to 5, but started losing too much tension after that.

Great trial deal!

$4 for one set of poly with free shipping. Can't hurt to give them a shot.

For those of you that have already done so, I was curious about Durafluxx.

Is it more like Tour Bite 1.25 or more like ALU Power 1.25? Or, like the above poster suggested, somewhere in between.

Also, is it just me, or do grey/silver monofilaments share similar properties due to the color? I know that certain strings behave differently in various colors.

How long does FireWire and durafluxx last you guys? Also is durafluxx really low powered?

I've never popped a set of Firewire honestly. With the triangle shape, the flat on flat surface seems to keep the string from sawing itself. The playability last much longer than many of the polys out there as well IMO.

durafluxx reminded me of Signum Pro Poly Plasma. A bit softer and a bit more power. Not a bad string. I used the promo code they had to get all 3 poly strings for $10. I'd try them all out for yourself.

I busted both Firewire and TourStatus. The FW took longer to break because the sides are very flat and didn't cut into the cross string.

this is what i found as well even when i hybrid FW w/ a round poly cross.
