Trying to switch from Prestige MP, any suggestions?

Hi all, I've been using a few iterations of the Prestige MP for a few years now and am now looking to try something new. I'm specifically looking for something with a little more "pop" and being a little lighter while still maintaining the low launch angle and maneuverability. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try the Ultra Tour. It’s a platform stick so you get to customize it with lead to whatever suits you. It’s got the same tight 18/20 pattern so launch angle is similar. Depending on how you add lead to customize it, it could have more or less pop than the prestige mp. I found it at around the same same static weight with a 5 point HL balance, the Ultra Tour was more maneuverable.

The blade cv 18/20 is lighter than the prestige mp, but with a less HL balance, it’s not as whippy and maneuverable but it does have more pop.

Both are fantastic sticks with bigger sweet spots than the prestige.

Try one of the Angells maybe. There’s several with 18x20 so low launch angles (TC95, TC97, K7 Lime). The TC97 has a low launch angle even in its 16x19 version. TC97 has plenty of power too. K7 is 315 unstrung and the others can be had in whatever weight you wish, more or less. TC97 is meant to be old school prestige -like too. All have a strong following on TT.

Its got some drawbacks compared to the Prestige, but I would give the Touch Radical MP a try.

The new Dunlop CX 200 Tours in 18x20 or 16x19 sound right up your alley. But if you don't mind a little older stick, try the Yonex Tour G or Duel G 310g, both are 16x20, the former having more feel, the latter more pop. Both Yonex are a slight box frame and have that old school graphite feel that's hard to find nowadays.

Plus one for the Phantom Pro 93P for sure. I've got a CX200 Tour 18x20 too and it's a pretty sweet stick but, for me, not as good as the 93P. This one may seem out of left field but give the Donnay Pro One 97 18x20 a try.

Why? Just because it’s heavy? That doesn’t make sense. Have you tried adding weight to your PD?
Angell Customs can be chosen at 290-330g unstrung, 95,97, or 100” head size , different string patterns, stiffness ratings etc, also there’s two 98” standard models. In UK they’re cheaper than many of the big brands two.
