will he able to win the Australian open this year with that new yellow string ????? and what is that string ?
does 4G soft play alot differently than 4G ?? i tried the 4G in the past and it was solid control poly with good access to spin. but not sure if 4G plays alot differently ?News flash: 4G Soft ain’t that soft!
i prefer 4g soft myself. similar though.does 4G soft play alot differently than 4G ?? i tried the 4G in the past and it was solid control poly with good access to spin. but not sure if 4G plays alot differently ?
Solinco outlast hahahahahanow red strings!
now red strings!
Ya it’s Luxilon Element IR his dad seems to use it tooThe red strings are his brother's setup - he just switched quickly in practice at the United Cup, but no way he will use this in a tournament.
Popular youtuber even spoke to his brother about it, seems to be Luxilon Element
But, like Korda’s 18x19, do you think we’ll ever see it in the retail space?-damm a 16/20 blade!!
-just when i tought WILSON could not get any better, wammmm they hit you again!
-well done WILSON!!
There was an instagram post from #tennis on the Blade 98 18x19 and mentioned there might be a limited release later in the year. Sounded more like rumors……. But I hope it is trueBut, like Korda’s 18x19, do you think we’ll ever see it in the retail space?
no its a new string, a tour level stringer confirmed its not thisYa it’s Luxilon Element IR his dad seems to use it too
wow... is he back to 4G ?? that is so insane after what that string did to his arm and shoulders.... I guess, if you must win at all costs........ just keep it til your arm falls off........... you do have to admit, he's playing his best tennis with 4G
Maybe it's 4g soft ?wow... is he back to 4G ?? that is so insane after what that string did to his arm and shoulders.... I guess, if you must win at all costs........ just keep it til your arm falls off........... you do have to admit, he's playing his best tennis with 4G
i keep thinking he might, but he never does. 4g soft is better than regular 4g imo.Maybe it's 4g soft ?
I agreei keep thinking he might, but he never does. 4g soft is better than regular 4g imo.
What is better with the 4G Soft, assuming that the arm handles 4G (normal) without problems?i keep thinking he might, but he never does. 4g soft is better than regular 4g imo.
There is no better/worse string, it's all about play style. Maybe 4G soft is more user friendly, but if you hit hard an need control, regular 4G is addictive and very difficult to move fromi keep thinking he might, but he never does. 4g soft is better than regular 4g imo.
obviously lmao. i just mean for me, that’s why i said imo. For me it’s easier on the arm, similar tension maintenance and better access to spin, and the tw string comparison tool reflects that. I won’t lie though, i’d be using 4g if not for 4g soft. both are great strings. There is no better/worse string, it's all about play style. i actually found myself getting more control and better access to spin after getting used to the launch angle. both are great strings though. What is better with the 4G Soft, assuming that the arm handles 4G (normal) without problems?
A great find by you there !!
Agree on the father part, disagree on the OHBH.if only string patter could get rid of his father and teach him a backhand…
I believe so 16x20 at least for the past yearI think he's been on 16x20 for a while no?
Reilly Opelka was playing with black strings and a white W stencil in Newport. I guess it’s ok for Wilson players to play with strings that can’t take a red W stencil. That's what a Wilson employee told me some years back. But when the Wilson employee told me that RPM Blast had just been introduced.
Just because Wilson's partner Luxilon has strings that won't work with red isn't a reason, IMHO, for Wilson not to require that their sponsored players use red. Most of their sponsored players probably use ALU or 4G, and they might suggest anyway to their sponsored players that they use a string that happens to work with red.
Yep and it’s TF Black code he’s usingReilly Opelka was playing with black strings and a white W stencil in Newport. I guess it’s ok for Wilson players to play with strings that can’t take a red W stencil.
If you try different brands of stencil ink they seem to all have their own mix so some stencils stick and some don’t. The Wilson ink on head Hawk touch doesn’t stick so I combine it with the dryer yonex stencil. Amazon has a white stencil ink that barely fades and is fantastic on dark strings.Reilly Opelka was playing with black strings and a white W stencil in Newport. I didn’t know what he was using, but I was trying to guess.Yep and it’s TF Black code he’s using

Hahhaa4G is for Serena. You have to be strong.Stefanos Tsitsipas playing style resembles a mix of a jack-in-the-box and Federer, and he needs to play with a soft string. I find that Alu Soft is hardly any more arm-friendly than the classic version.
