Tsitsipas 33.8% on points won on return. 23.9% first return. 48.4% 2nd return. To put this in perspective Djokoray career hard court first return is 34%. This means if all they faced were first serves they'd have as good as return game as Tsitsipas.o_O Roddick retired when his return got this bad. The only thing keeping Tsitsi afloat is that he's won 39.0% of break points which is plenty good, but not sustainable. Thiem was pretty bad on first return his first big year on hard courts, but they fixed it and then some. Long, long way to go for Stefanos who has managed a 15-8 record this Summer on only 50.3% points won. Very clutch, but it won't hold up. Kyrgios at least has a strong 2nd return game. Like his game a lot, but Tsitsipas not doing anything big on tour with these kind of return numbers.

The Fog will take care of business against him in the semis. ;)
I have confidence he'll somehow choke it away.:D

Foggy needs a super coach; he's putting up some pretty good stats and has abused a lot of players on hard courts this year. Permanent mug status if he blows match with Tsitsipas.

He is 3 years younger than Kyrgios, and spent the first 3-4 months of the year mainly at challenger level

I think he will improve significantly next year
These are numbers from Summer onward. Tsitsi is almost a year older than Shapo and putting up much worse return numbers a year later. Shapo has good return numbers this Summer up around 38% which is fine progress. Tsitsi has a year less before he hits his speed peak and 38% vs 34% is a gulf.o_O Kyrgios his last healthy year was at 36% and that is with him tanking right and left. He's bound to get better, but that is a lot of ground to make up.
