You wanted Novak so be healthy so Federers loss wasn’t so bad.
Novak was not well at all, it was very visual.
The stats also showed that SF was one of Federer worst matches in 2018 and yet you hyped that match up like it was a great match.
Discussing tennis w posters that biased making up excuses after accuses feels like a waste of time.

A comfortable win for Djokovic in such a match is nothing to fear. Rather, it is something to embrace and wish for!
Just meant that Djokovic-Nadal is the likely final, so we will get the actual match. I fear Its going to be a pretty comfortable win for Djoko, but Rafa is Rafa, you can never write him off

.I can't make you believe me but i was never questioning If Djokovic was sick or not. I was questioning If It was a cold or a flu, which was stupid of me. It had nothing to do with Feds loss being easier If Djoko was 100% (which he clearly wasnt). I did not expect Federer to win that match.
If you read some of my posts it's quite obvious what i think of Rogers level post AO18, so "hyping the match" is very relative. Clearly neither Roger or Djoko was playing good, and i never said they were (although i was a bit surprised the stats was THAT bad when i checked them after the match). Federer struggled with his second serve almost the whole year.

I disagree, having sub-standard players win slams is no good for tennis. Players like Djokovic, Nadal and Federer are very difficult to beat. Players can either complain about this and give up or they can work hard and use it as motivation to get to a higher level.
You mention Murray, who had to play in an era of three all time greats. He didn't complain about this, he used it as motivation to get better and managed to win slams. The younger players aren't even facing these greats in their prime and if they can't motivate themselves to a improve to a point were they can compete with these players, then they simply aren't good enough.

It was a horrid SF in Paris w not high level play.
If Fed was in 2017 form he would have beaten Novak that day since Novak didn’t play well also.

I was really behind Tsits and wanted him to win tonight but I didn't want Nadal to give it to him either.
I'm totally ok with Rafa's win, he totally dominated Tsits, was the better player, that last set was the final insult to the young next gen star.
I'm hoping that this next generation will step up and take their place but at the moment the gulf between them and Rafa is extreme.

I agree. I never said it was a high quality match. I couldnt have, Federer hasnt played high quality sinse early 2018, and even then he was worse than 2017.

At least I'm not denying it. I would've definitely liked Novak's chances against Tsitsipas more than vs Nadal. But that's not the point. You can dig up my posts after Zverev beat Djokovic at YEC. I was definitely not as enthusiastic as I was when he beat Fed, but I definitely said his win was good for tennis.

Djokovic only broke Rafael 4 times in that entire Wimbledon marathon (Rafael had 30 service games), and Rafael wasn't even serving big
