On the basis I think Novak will win the Title regardless, I would prefer Stephanos to make the Final over Rafa. I think it will be a much more entertaining Final if Stephanos is playing in it.

But if I thought Rafa had a decent chance of beating Novak, I would rather Rafa be in the Final because I would love Rafa to achieve a 2nd AO Title thus completing the double Career Grand Slam - something only Laver and Emerson have achieved in the Men's Singles to date.

Alas, I think Novak has it in the bag. So if he does win his 7th AO Title, I hope he can go on and win a 2nd French Open Title giving him a double Career Grand Slam.

That would be amazing, a double career slam and 2 Novak slams! The BOAT!

But Tsitsipas has absolutely no chance to win this match from the back of the court. Nadal will feast on his one-handed BH all night long and run him into the ground. Tsit's only chance is to deny Nadal rhythm with slice, coming to net, off speed shots... mix it up. He has the ability to do that, whereas ball bashers like Medvedev or Basilashvilli have no Plan B.
The revelation to me is Nadal has actually morphed into a goddamned offensive player! His 1-2 punch is devastating. Whole matches in 1.5 hours??????

Either guy , really. Rafa is Rafa, we know what he's capable in the finals.
If Steph beats him here then he won't be a pushover either. Looks like an exciting end..

That's Federer taking on Zverev in that gif
Not ideal with Tommy in it, but all I could find. Nadal v Djokovic is the blockbuster final here. Tsits has a long and promising career ahead of him. The heart wants what it wants.

Rafa spent less time on court this AO than Novak, even w the early Kei retire.
Me like! Think he wil slaughter Tpas. Hope it will not be too much.

It's hard to know the demographics behind these polls. I think Fedfans are the largest single constituency on this forum, but I won't guess at the ratio of Fed fans, Novak fans and Rafa fans - and who voted. And there may be some Tsitsipas or Next Gen fans as well.

And then, there could be Fed fans who want Nadal to win to knock off Novak, and vice versa. So, this analysis is both fascinating while simultaneously being utterly meaningless.

I’d like to see Tsitsipas beat all of the big 3 in one slam and his way to the title. That would be insane.
It has never happened in tennis history
And highly unlikely to happen still today,
Even if tsitsipas takes out nadal, he will fall flat to joker...

He only trails Novak 9-0
Yeah..
But could've made a close match, causing novak to get tired

Tsitsipas has never lost a set to Nadal.
Wait what????
Are you completely fine friend, @Sport ???????

Was he so aggresive against Federer? Or was Federer a bit passive in the break points?
Both
He came to net more often than fed
