yep! Tsitsi's FH is even better than Shapo's (by a small margin overall)!

Tsit's BH is much more consistent than Shap's!

Shapo has slightly more pop on his shots, but Tsitsi's shots are less likely to breakdown while also being powerful.

T-pas seemingly has a lot more potential for further physical development (he still looks like a skinny teenager), Shapo is already quite physically built and i don't think can really go much farther regarding that unless he wants to get in Thor territory like Berdych, which probably wouldn't help his tennis anyway.

T-pas is better at the net than Shaps.

So in my estimation, Tsitsipas will have a better career than Shapovalov and potentially win more slams.

So perhaps the Federer faithful should put their hopes into T-pas (i won't be saying or typing Tsisipas that often) instead of Shapo.

Shapovalov wins by one letter.

Shapo has a better serve and overall bigger game with a great attitude. The only thing that could hold Shapo from winning majors is injury

Currently, shapovalov looks like a young Feliciano lopez. He is very unbalanced in his shot making for no apparent reason other than a flawed style of hitting aggressive shots while leaning back. Tsitsipas looks incredibly raw, and he purposefully creates points through an all-around game that lacks execution. Time will tell

Well on clay its not a contest. Tsitsipas is up there with Thiem and Zverev as one of the best. Shapo would make a good water boy on clay.:D

I'm not willing to go beyond that until they both get a couple years older. Tsitsi is 8 months older than Shapovalov.

So you didn't watch his matches in Barcelona this week?

Funny how things change with surface. Just at the beginning of the year, Shapo was doing good ant Tsitsipas lost to him (and many others). Then they switch from hardcourts to clay, Shapo has a bunch of early losses and Tsitsipas goes on a tear.

But the narrative somehow completely shifts - suddenly Shapo's done for and Tsitsipas is future GOAT...

Nothing's change. Tsitsipas was just as talented early in the year, he's just better on clay. Shapo's just as good now as he was a few months ago, but he's better on hardcourts.

Given that there's just more tennis played on Hard than on Clay, and that Shapo's probably better on grass too, I'd give him the nod for now.

Well put. Either way, I'm just happy to see a couple of next gen players making dents.

Disagree. Tsitsipas’ BH is too loopy; Shap’s serve is a weapon.

A loopy one hander is one of the most underrated shots in tennis. For sure was one of the most important elements for guga to dominate clay.

It is just a hard shot to dial and give it back with interest.
