TTW is hacked?

This started happening today. When I visited Talk Tennis forum, I was warned that the connection is not secure and somebody was trying to impersonate the server:

Secure Connection Failed

  • This could be a problem with the server’s configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.
  • If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later.

Someone could be trying to impersonate the site and you should not continue.

Web sites prove their identity via certificates. This Browser does not trust because its certificate issuer is unknown, the certificate is self-signed, or the server is not sending the correct intermediate certificates.

Maybe it's the Ruskies or the Chi's?

Happens to the best of em.

BTW - your TT password should be unique to this site, or a general pw you use for non-sensitive sites (i.e. not also used on email, social media, or financial-related accts).

I don't have identical passwords. All of my passwords are different.

:) yeah me 2
this is what it says for me:

This server could not prove that it is tt.tennis-warehouse.com; its security certificate expired in the last day. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection. Your computer's clock is currently set to Friday, September 16, 2022. Does that look right? If not, you should correct your system's clock and then refresh this page.

Continue to tt.tennis-warehouse.com (unsafe)

Does it cost a lot of money to renew security certificate ?

TTW needs to start a GoFundMe

The pricing of an SSL certificate is about $60 per year on average, but this can vary wildly. To give you an idea, it can range from $5 per year to a whopping $1,000 per year, depending on your site's security needs.

did you know that when you type your password in the main forum, the site automatically shows it as stars?

I bet TTW pays $1000 per year for SSL certificate.

I had to wait 5 days for my account to be reinstated and that after 3 emails. I could tell they were short staffed. Pandemic has done us over.

We may have to pay for our accounts going forward.

My TTW password is unique to TTW. It’s TENNIS. Is that a good one?

Serena fans hacked TTW and deleted the“female GOAT poll“ because their fave was trailing Steffi with 11 vs 25 votes.

Both, with the assistance of the Iranians and the Venezuelans.
I am worried because it’s been a long time we don’t hear anything about the North Koreans. I wonder what they must be up to.
