TTW's peak level of tennis analysis

How good at tennis analysis are TTW's acclaimed finest?

Obviously the boards are replete with fail takes by clueless mugs about all things tennis (and non-tennis), but there are also some articulate analysts whose posts quite a few people look forward to seeing, most notably Waspsting and (sadly formerly) Zoid, but also occasional posts/discussions by the likes of NatF, NonP, Guru(flop) etc. Do you think any of them are legit and how much if so? (This is specifically asking about TTW's best, hence 'peak' in the title.)

Not much tennis analysis actually happens here, it's mostly just broad strokes stuff like who has better forehand or something. It's nice when you see posts where people are a bit more articulate about specific things the players are doing, which is partly why I like Jim Courier as a commentator.

InsideOut900 is fine. Knowledgeable and unbiased Djokovic fan I aspire to be.

NatF is fine. Too anti-Djokovic sometimes, but I forgive him due to his knowledge and him being a real tennis fan.

Zagor is fine. Especially in real life when he's drunk and ready to educate mugs.

AnOctorokForDinner is fine. MeatTornade is fine. Third Serve is fine. TripleATeam is fine. TheFifthSet is fine. Martin J is fine, etc.

I think I used to be fine when I tried to be serious. Maybe a bit anti-Nadal/Murray, but hey, I tried.

@TheFifthSet is great imo.

It used to happen on here more in the past IMO.

But as expected many the contexts of the discussions here are fairly repetitive so it's understandable.

Lowercasing MUG is as much of a MUG move as is lowercasing Peak.

This thread is like peeking at notes left mistakenly on a desk in a middle school classroom or cafeteria table. Oh, the insight.

''Do you know what you are?''

''Don't call me a bum, I'm not a bum.''

''You are, I was about to say, no longer eligible.''

''Why?''

''You're a mug, Mr. Gorman.''

Mostly mugs with a few goodies, but those few goodies are genuinely good, and about as good as anyone I've seen in 15 years here. I'm not naming names, because I don't want to inflate egos, except for @Waspsting, who is truly the king.

There are lots of very interesting posts. But a good analytical piece will get X number of responses while blatant trolling and promoting a fan war will easily get you multiple times that in replies.

TTW didn't invent the usage of "mug" as an insult - it's old British slang. But TTW did develop two great insights:

1) The use of MUG as part of someone's name, as in MUGsetti, RaoMUG, or ZvereMUG.
2) The capitalization of MUG, as in huMUG.
How I miss the days of Nicolas Almugro. An era when tenissers were real men, and TT posters were slightly less mental.
