Have you tried "The Jolly Rig" yet?
Have 4 friends switched to it already.
According to your signature, you're the lone holdout. What gives?
I haven't changed my sig in ages, I suppose I should sooner or later.
I think I will wait until I have something good to put in there before I change it.
Just a quick shout out to my man Sam-Stah, who I spotted last Saturday hitting some mighty fine looking 1HBH's during a lesson with my best buddy, G-Mac. That BLX 90 seemed to be working well, so put down that Volkl drivel and come to the light Sammy Boy! Best, BHBH
In true cowardly fashion, I'm putting as much distance between myself and this new Samster OHBH weapon as possible.
Wise move. It sounded like a cannon going off everytime Samstah connected with one of those big groundies. BHBH
What a sweet feeling BLX 90!
You were serving pretty awesome with the BLX 90 yourself.
I would watch out for Skraggle. Now that he has "reconnected" with a Wilson [K]-Factor Tour 90.
The backhand finally dialed in after drilling 100 backhands that morning.
I appreciate the props Sam. Yes, I am really coming 'round to the BLX. Took me a while. Creature of habit, and 'sameness' and all.............. BHBH
That's the only way to play GMac. Straight ahead power tennis. Did you like the aggressive approach I was taking? If I play cat and mouse with him I will lose, and lose badly. BHBH
Great to see the Samster out on the courts again this morning, and earlier this week. On Friday morning he was presented with a t-shirt (courtesy of Geoff!) with 'oh-so-ever-appropriate logo. Photo to follow! BHBH
It seems to me that you all live or work at the same place. Have fun in Nashville, TN!
I hope everybody is OK after the big rain and you can find a dry court soon.
bumpppp! everyone still doin good?
Dry, kicking, and still playing plenty of tennis here. BHBH
Middle TN/Nashville Chapter: RELOADED!!!!
Greetings Fellow Tennis Lovers,
It felt like old times this morning as Geoff and I had the pleasure of hosting our long-lost friend Scott (aka "Bolt") on the court bright and early this lovely spring morning! Although he'd not struck a ball in FOUR YEARS (yes, I said FOUR YEARS!!) the athletic, ever so smooth Bolt was grooving straight away, hitting the nasty, high bouncing, top spin laden forehands that first brought him to Middle TN Chapter fame back in 2007. It was great to see the affable, athletic chap back in action. I hope he will make good on this threat to terrorize our East TN neighbors by making his long over-due return to the courts upon his return to Johnson City!!!
Excellent! It is just like riding a bike for Bolt!
Indeed! A natural. BHBH
Thanks for the kind words guys. It was great to have my first hit in such a long time with two GREAT players in Geoff and BHBH. Certainly that makes getting back on the bike that much easier. Thanks for taking it easy on me guys.
Now, where can one scrounge up some K90s? Would the PS85 or current incarnation of the BLX90 work? I like the price of the PS85!
I think you could play well with a frying pan, so why not a BLX PS 90 or PS 85? Hope to see you again soon buddy! BHBH
What about you Samster? Are you still swinging the K90? And have you heard from Saram?? Best, BHBH
I am currently swinging the PS 90 BLX. Recently got a matched pair from TW to meet my specifications (weekend warrior). My grip size has gone from 4 5/8 to now 4 3/8.
No, Sir Saram has been MIA since our match.
I would recommend the BLX PS 90. It is much more arm-friendly compared to the K 90. I have mine strung with the Fed setup at 49/47.
Haha, a frying pan would be an improvement over the Rossignol for sure. That thing is way too powerful and just detached feeling.
So tell me guys, which of these two, PS85 and BLX PS 90, feels as close to the K90 as possible? I crave that K90 feel! That little taste I got on Sunday was all I needed to remind me how sweet it is.
I would have to say the BLX PS 90 is closer. It's a bit stiffer, but not much. Best, BHBH
Hey you guys, I travel down to NAshville a couple times a year. I have been trying in vain to find where all the players and cardio and stuff are. Where do you guys play and is there a regular group?
Can I join the Nashville Division?
been forever since I have been on here, i'm back in the nashville area, looking to get back into tennis...anyone still playing?
