I love the TW reviews as well. TW is a a great tennis shop and all the guys and girls that do the reviews are very enthusiastic about the sport which is great.
It’s great that they are out there reviewing stuff and the content is very informative.

I also like the podcasts and the vlogs, they compliment the reviews and the various interviews with players and on court training videos. Also good to see Tennis Only Australia and Tennis Warehouse Europe featuring in the reviews. I like the way the format and reviews have inspired other people as well to do reviews and stuff, it’s all good for tennis.

I enjoy watching the racquet reviews, and appreciate the variety of opinions. It must be difficult to summarize how you feel in 90 seconds or less, but please keep it going! :) As a customer, I really like the categories of evaluation (volley, serving, etc.), but the criteria for scoring doesn't necessarily have to be on a scale of 0-100. It could be something else, so people don't get so caught up on a number!

One of the things we hear on the reviews with some regularity is "throw a leather grip on it, add a little weight in the hoop". It would be cool if the play testers would mention what they actually did (how much weighted added and where) along with post customized specs after they got a racquet setup as well as they could.

I do have an issue with the TW reviews. Before raising same, I would be remiss if I did not say that I am very appreciative of the fact that TW performs the reviews, provides a resource for tennis lovers to chat, and has always provided me with excellent service at reasonable prices. My issue pertains to a response to my comment questioning the apparent favoritism given to Prince racquets. I incorrectly stated in my comment that it was my understanding that TW owned Prince. I was wrong; the TW commentator correctly pointed out that TW does not own Prince, rather it is the US Licensee/Distributor. However, this is an immaterial distinction as TW still has an inherent conflict of interest and the appropriate course of action would be for TW to note in their reviews that it is the US Licensee/Distributor. I can't comment on the playability and quality of the Prince frames and I am sure they are great frames (while aging myself, one of my favorite frames of all time was the Woody), I note that reviews were performed for 13 of the 14 Phantom models and 6 of the 8 Tour models. If I were the US Licensee/Distributor, I would probably do the same, however I would provide full disclosure.
